I chose to put my favorite photos on a Creative Common platform to contribute to a community of photographers who are not possessive of what they see.
I Dont know if Steemit can give me such surprises, the logarithms used in the mainstream social media are litteraly content capitalism. Which means, the trending posts are the most watched posts which is a vicious circle, and it can be any post, it can be a repost and it can be a post with no content what so ever ... This among many other strategies that keep on oppressing any content creator which is not willing to spam and to fake socialize in order to create some quality content which is not simply a recycled product of the mashed memes between the unreaders and fake profiles on social media...
I am not bitter, i found hope on @Steem , among very few other platforms, unsplash is one of them even if it is not a Blockchain platform.
Unsplash.com gave me fever !
It is all in a perspective of sharing. I don't really care if i get paid for the pictures i take, because somebody likes it and wants to use it for a personal or professional purpose. Giving credits is a noble thing to do, in fact, it is the rightest thing to do when you are given a picture for free. But it is not a condition for me to share what i was able to see.
Statistically, this was my best shot !
I posted a picture of a Red door, and many more, this shot as a one original shot with my Canon Rebel SLR1 and a 55mm Lens. Taken in Day Light, in the Medina of Meknes. It was a Closed red door.
I always liked door, especially handmade doors, big doors, old doors. But a red door, this is symbolic.
I liked it so i shot it, and i posted it, and many months later, i took a look at it on the website and i was shocked.
Here are the stats, and info about the photo.
I looked into it, and i found out that it actually worked, many websites have used this picture and another one with a Traditional Dream Catcher. It just made me want to take more and more pictures.
Support, and transparency can make wonders.
Inspiration doesn't always come from fantasy. It can come from the smallest gesture of recognition, which basically comes from sharing with others, sharing with everyone.
Resteem and Upvote,
If you feel generous and want to Support the idea it would make my day, and help everyone get free quality photos !
I love the idea, and your shots are amazing. Keep feeding us with beautiful photography !

Neat shots! I agree with your thoughts on the social media algorithms! It's a shame it's that way and hopefully some day they improve how it works, it used to be much better and it just gets more and more restrictive and more and more pay to play so to speak.
Also that's cool you've had such positive results on Unsplash! I should really take some time to post some of my images there. Also I appreciate what you said about sharing and not expecting anything back! Great mindset. :)
