Steemian List of Assets Stolen by Hive

in steem •  5 years ago

If they had sent the funds to @null that would have not allowed them to make them available for turning over to those who are successful on appeal. I would rather there is a process to let some who were caught up in a situation gain the airdrop than to see them all go to @null.

Again, not stolen. Can't steal what is not owned.

Again, people's intellectual property is being used to promote a business venture without their consent.

Ergo, "stolen assets".

AND once again, I have already agreed with you in regards to the IP. However, the post being replied to says nothing about the IP and everything about airdops that there is no entitlement to.

My bottom line: I just want my all of my content and my name removed from Hive. That's it. I just want to move forward from this whole horrible experience. Why does it have to go on and on and on? Enough already. They should remove my content or let me remove my content and let me live in peace. I just want to move forward!

Well I offered you a way to support you removing your content, that is all that is within my power.

I would/will gladly accept that help, so I can remove my posts and move on with my life. Seriously, I would greatly appreciate the help! It will be a lot of work to remove the posts manually, but I am happy to do it myself. I just have no power to be able to do it. I would greatly appreciate the help. That would be very nice if you would do that. Please and thank you.

done.. I have delegated 50HP to you. If you find that is not enough to accomplish what you're doing hit me up on discord (same name) and I'll increase it.

Thank you very much. I really appreciate that. I also appreciate the help you have provided since. I hope to get this solved by day's end. Then I can move on with my life.

I agree with you. I do not personally feel like I am entitled to an airdrop from another blockchain. (An interesting point though is that it was promised to all users, and then that promise was walked back on the premise of punishing those who "support centralization". In all honesty, it was well known that Ned's stake existed and that the chain was not truly centralized to begin with. But, that's a whole other discussion. I voted against the witnesses because I didn't agree with what they were doing on Steem, nor with how they handled themselves. It had absolutely nothing to do with whether I support centralization or decentralization.)

Perhaps, the original post can be edited to reflect the assets that were actually stolen @zzan.witnesses (the intellectual property)?

that would be up to the author.

As for voting against the witnesses due to disagreement with their actions. That is totally within your rights, but, what led to the exclusion list is the belief that voting for the sock puppets was against the best interest of the chain. Had you chose to vote human witnesses other than the consensus witnesses, no one would have dared to dispute that.

The only reason that one of my reasons for leaving Steem isn't about the sock puppets is that there is currently human witnesses looking after the chain ... mostly not people I'd support and trust but they are people who might be able to learn better.

Dear @shadowspub

Wouldn't you think that if someone is excluding those authors from being part of this airdrop, then content created by those authors should not be used on new chain?

I'm not one of the organizers of the chain, so why they did or did not remove the content. I suspect to do so would actually invite legitimate claims of censorship.

Anyone who doesn't want their content on Hive can remove it. If they need help with RCs to do so, they can contact me and I'll assist with a temporary delegation

hi @shadowspub

Thanks for prompt reply. I somehow missed it and read it just now.

Anyone who doesn't want their content on Hive can remove it

How can content be removed from HIVE chain? Isn't true that everything on blockchain stays forever?

Yours, Piotr

I also will offer to help with a temporary delegation if the need arises.

Thank you for your interest. I've talked to them a few times, but they don't have the will to give.
