I'm going to start this off by saying there really is nothing on steem's level, it's way way way before it's time.

Never have I been addicted to social media before my steem journey started.

If you're on some other form of decentralised social media, you'll notice all of them talk steem down a lot, it's because they simply cannot compete. They wanna be us, but they aint us.

My steem story starts back in the bullrun of 2017/2018. A terrible time to get into any crypto, but whatever. I'll go through my origin story, all the way up to the present day, where I'm a full-time steemian, living, working, socialising and even gaming on steem.

This is me.

I stuck around here because it gave me a place to open up my creative side and I was incentivised to do so through the unique feature of being able to earn. I soon realised that I could say anything I wanted to here and the worst thing that'd happen would be a downvote.

As I spent more time here, I started to realise that steem is one of the most high-tech, most used, and most versatile Blockchains out there.

Communities

One of the very first communities I joined was a comedy based community. I was a huge fan of writing funny stuff so it blew my mind that there was a group literally reading my material and rewarding me for it.

I'm also a dev, so it wasn't long before I started making good money just by contributing open source code to #utopian-io.

I've met a number of really cool people on here from around the world. I do not care what the price of steem is, it's no longer just an investment, it's my stake in a system that I use every single day, that puts bread on the table.

This excitement about being able to develop for a blockchain led me to the point I'm at now, where I'm a full-time steem developer. I make a living, right here. I think that's amazing.

Way I see it, I have two completely different lives. My real, physical life, and my steem life. The two halves barely hear of each other. I'm like Hannah Montanna but with blockchain 😎
