After releasing the delegation market yesterday, we listened to the amazing feedback @beanz gave us and decided to switch the static 200 SP per STEEM per week - to a dynamic 'choose your own ratio'.
Which means:
You can choose your own STEEMPOWER / STEEM ratio
You can now decide if you want to get less STEEMPOWER for 1 STEEM per week and thus increase your chance of finding a delegator - or to get more STEEMPOWER per 1 STEEM per week but reduce the chance of finding someone.
This is extremely valuable right now - as there are a lot of new request getting created due to the SBD-price increase.

Wonder when we get a fully functional steem delegation exchange. This seems pretty close to the idea :) if user can set the price it kinda does the job. Now we need the "ask" side where you offer steem delegation for desired price and wait until someone "buys" it :)

I think that is a great idea. It properly creates a free market and if people start offering good value delegation it can only help to spread around the SP. The more active power that is out there, the better for growing the site.

@therealwolf got it. Makes sense. Thanks for the follow up on this. Great time for steem and steemit as well as sbd. The ETH and BTC bottlenecks are bringing big flows of money to the steem blockchain, and if we add the great developments already running on the steem blockchain (@utopian-io that is disrupting the way opensource projects are funded, and SMTs that will come here soon so that steem will monetize the web), and then a Korean exchange making it possible with a chat platform to buy steem and sbd directly from fiat currency. Simple incredible.

Hi. So if i wanted to lease 4000 steam power with lets say 320 steem. How does SP per steem a week work? I dont get it. Like on minnowbooster for example it says 150 per week. Does that mean it dispurses 150 steem a week for 12 weeks?
