Spam means unwanted emails. Who the hell does not want to receive an email with money in it? We are all here for money, spam with money will always be good for me at least!

really the subject spam is too complicated, it is clear that some rules have to be established, all systems need rules of good use but the subject spam is something very subjective, as is the quality that is also very subjective, there is a very thin line in what is understood as spam and what is not spam and we also have to think that we each have different thoughts and opinions and for which some seem to be spam to others, and the rules that define spam are those that also wrote a person or several with their thoughts and that thought may be more or less true than others, and I say it is difficult to establish the barrier or the fine line that is spam and what is not.

but what I see wrong is penalizing this too much when I've seen much worse and more damaging things for steemit and are overlooking them.

please there are priorities, go on the hunt for the real steemit abusers there are many and they are quite big.

Doing more than 5.3k transactions with an amount of 0.001 steem equals to 5.4 steem. His gift post has a value of 83 SBD... On steemdb he has 0 followers.
So tell me who gets the reward of those posts? Not the followers..

A full node currently needs more than 130GB of ram and this amount increases rapidly. Doing like that are unnecessary traffic.

And what do you get from this?! 0.001 Steem?? Yeaa you can havbe mine too if you want. I prefer to have a better overview on my history instead of getting shitspammers 0.001 gifts.

totally. 'abuse' like this is what really will get things going i think. i am quite new to steemit and i have seen 'real abuse' of the system around here already (multi accounting with own upvote bot with payouts of 4-digit dollar amount).
you are doing no harm here imo, keep it up.

why? Because he sends a memo with a possibility to win a bit extra? This is much more friendly than all them resteembots, where 60% is in a language you do not understand. And I do know it is my own mistake by following them. I made the mistake somewhere to say follow people ... :-( I wished they all did it by sending some sbd :-) that would be so much nicer.

@sneak, thanks for pointing this out. It seems people are too lulled by nominal SBD rewards to consider the wider impact of these schemes concerning the value being added to the blockchain or rather not in this case.

@money-dreamer, apparently is a scripter that knows how to exploit psychology for their gain.
They are gaining SP using a vote farming system that preys on minnows mostly. We recently went on a campaign with others on @steemflagrewards to combat this problem. We will be doing it again sometime if you'd like to join and be rewarded in the process for your flags.

I do a lot of flagging for complete junk posts.

I think my strategy of gaining visibility might be controversial but I don't consider it spam. I'm sending the rewards for this post to my followers. I think it adds value to the Steem blockchain. I'm going to be doing weekly payouts to my followers. I will be providing valuable services that allow accounts to interact with the Steem blockchain in very creative ways.
