If you use the blockchain to build on the old system you need to rethink your strategy because sooner or later you are going to be irrelevant.
Innovation means creating new business models..steem is innovation but many initiatives on top are not.
The blockchain allow us to cut the middle man, if you are a middle man on the blockchain you are doing it wrong.

I've been an advocate for this same type of awareness. Too many people using blockchain as a gimmick to continue to get over on people and make money just like the used to. Blockchain and middle man are diametrically opposed to each other. It would be like supportin XRP v Steem and BTC. Playing with people(banks) who subject others to exploitation is contrary to what blockchain is invented for. Am I right on this?
