I am new to steem and still learning.
So we earn by posting. We get steem which we can trade and cash. That's great.
But from where these steems are coming. I know other people votes for me and based on their voting power upvote value varies.
Suppose one man upvote this post and as a result I got 10 cent. Now where does 10 cent come from? His voting power. but his voting power is not reduced. I mean if his account takes some rest his voting power will be 100% again. So he did not lost money.
So how steem earns. there is no advertiser company. And I see people getting 400$ 500$ even more earn.
Facebook youtube gets money from advertiser company and we get some of them.
Can you guys clear me. I know the question might be silly.

Soniya, steem is traded on exchanges for real money. It started when people bought initial tokens year ago and it increases in value every year. There is section about where tokens come from in the page (https://steemit.com/faq.html)
