To be honest, I've not taken Steemit very seriously up to now. Just shitposting and promoting others' efforts. I use Busy.org like Twitter. I'm also interested in building an audience before getting down to work. Besides, my stuff needs adapting for the platform and I just haven't had the time. I am planning to do stuff on the the working classes on the BBC in the 60s - something that may interest a wider audience. I'm sure no-one has any interest in undergrad essays on The Steel Lockout in Scunthorpe - 1892/93. Ha ha! It did win an award but strictly of local history interest. In 2018 I plan to knuckle down, produce something of genuine merit that may have a more universal interest. Hit me with a mention in the comments of your next stuff so I get a notification on Steemify.
