Last week I wrote an article "Steem Power TOP100 - Movers and shakers #1", but there wasn't much action in the Top 100. I got the idea to make a longer list from @bravenewcoin who asked me "where is the top 500 list?". So I changed the format, removed the Curation and Author rewards column from the table, and created a new list for the second week.
I was very happy to see there are a very significant number of powering ups happened last week in the top 500. It was also good to see if you have good content you can climb the rankings very quick.

Here is the first interesting change:
@adm moved up 32 places! 5 days ago he received 50 000 STEEM and powered it up. He received the STEEM from 3 users @alittle @apuff @adrop - I assume it is controlled by the same person. But it's good to see there are people who still power up in a big scale.
@stellabelle keeps writing and moved up 2 places to the 79th position.
@bhuz he is the 7th ranked witness and it seems it's really profitable. @bhuz has 13% more Steem Power than last week and moved 9 places up. I still don't know how can I check transactions that contains witness rewards. If anybody knows more please let me know.

It's actually pretty easy I came to find out recently. I've been using tables on my recent live olympics posts here as you can see they come out quite nicely and look pretty sharp. Yes @silversteem received a lot of curation rewards, but he is also a witness which pays better. I think he received about 60-75% from witness rewards. But I am not sure because I don't know where to check it. :)

Yeah, it's interesting to me to see new accounts surpassing the founders. Then again, these new accounts are professional content creators who have built a following over many years of publishing quality content, in some cases every day. The founders don't blog nearly as much, so, from a certain perspective, it makes sense.
