Since the dawn of time, sport gripped civilizations imagination, whether it is gladiators fighting to death, the ancient Olympics or what modern day civilization has created. It is in human nature to want to compete, and sport reflect that. However, a very small part of the world’s population actually ever get access to opportunities this gives them.

The very nature of the big money business sports has become means that people with resources or direct access to resources have a massive edge on everyone else, leading to many massively talented people without this access either giving up early on or never being discovered.

SportsPodium intends to create a solution that will address these challenges by disrupting the status quo through using social media to drive a bottom up approach, giving revenue opportunities for all levels in the value chain, and by enabling sports administrators to more effectively gather information and identify talent, while giving sports people the chance to promote themselves in a fun and engaging manner.
