I know I don't write much I just do my streams chill , however a really annoying and weird incident happened again and I feel obligated to write about it on an immutable platform.
Honestly , when I first joined on Steem , I wasn't really advocate of blockchain or immutability , However I live in a really garbage 3rd world country , therefore after years passed I started to understand the core values of Steem much much better after seeing bunch of incidents from our beloved goverment.
Wikipedia was banned for almost 2 years , youtube got banned for 6 months these were just the signals. However yesterday a recent incident happened in one of the borders . There were a terrorist attack in İdlib and 33 soldiers died , I can't really give the accurate numbers because of the media blockage and goverment decided that its a good idea to block slowdown all the social media sites. (instagram , youtube , twitter)
Honestly it is the most fucked up situation it is like a joke and if they are going to block any news or social media site as they desire , I need an immutable platform , we need an immutable platform.
Eventhough I was a pleb and noob in the start I value the core values of Steem much more now and I trust our witnesses to protect it no matter what.
Ps : Don't live in 3rd World Countries
