The only thing that matters is the price... these FCAS scores are like the government trying to tell us a swamp is good real estate because the soil composition is rich in nitrogen for farming, but everyone knows its a swamp you cant farm there... these FCAS scores woudl eb NICE if teh PRICE was going up... no one cares, we need PRICE action and the ONLY WAY to fix that is ONBOARDING USERS.. we have crazy witnesses liek @gtg seriously giving up thinking that its Too expensive to onbaord anyone unles sthey "add value" when no we just are in a leadership droubt and we need infrastructrue paid for by the person with teh largest stake,

I'm not that crazy, it's a bit more complex thing.
We are decentralized after all, not all are looking for decentralized, censorship free, some maybe don't know that yet, until they hit the reality hard. Easy onboarding - I'm all for that. But that should be easy for users and the blockchain. We can do that in a variety of ways, one of them might be through some centralized entity. If more of them, better. Then you can jump to the other side of the mirror.
Crazy? I'm not crazy.. OK, a little ;-)
By the way I'm claiming accounts slowly (not enough for even a one day of onboarding) but they are there to be used.
I'm pretty much looking for some good frontend solution so users with claimed accounts could securely use them for efortless onboarding.

Steem Ninja (@oracle-d) tokenized their account tokens with Steem Engine. It's very easy to swap those to an account. I tried it out and works easy.

Hmm... Nice point @ackza but I hope you also know that every crypto price or worth is depending on the value of BTC. There were times whereby steem used to worth more than $1 during the days of high worth of BTC.

I believe it's a matter of time before our Market Cap consumes many millions of bitcoins, eth, and other alt's with less use case and clunky addressing. We need to work on our Witnesses and getting more users involved with consensus. Really excellent news. Steem was being developed at a time when so many organizations seemed to be desperately looking for a way to shoehorn a blockchain into their functionality, and Steem is one of the few which used it in a way that makes perfect sense with the technology, and encourages engagement rather than a "hodl and speculate" mindset. Not a knock against BTC at all - I think a store of value is a vital use for blockchain as well, but Steem leverages the same power to incentivize real, active participation in a time when social networking desperately needed innovation. Glad to see it getting the recognition it deserves.
