Steemit Kids World Talent Hunt, A Chance For Kids To Shine
Talent shows are great to raise money and gather the community together, and this year #steemitkidsworld wants to hold one up for every talented kid out there on the street and its all going to be done through you and everyone else who is reading this now.
I thought of a better way of helping the kids on the street by hosting a talent show through this amazing blockchain called steemit. The aim is to create awareness for steemit to others to know the amazing things the platform can do to bring in more people and also help street kids with talent off the street with a hope of making it with their dreams and my perception behind all this is one day as the year passes all the winners will also help all those who are going through similar things like they did.
This will also give the kids hope they thought they will never achieve and will make each and other kids around work hard on their talents since its going to be an annual program each year to unable other kids to participate to, but all will depend on how well all goes with the 1st edition and also sponsorship as well. So I will plead with all steemians here to help in the best way they can to help this wonderful project be a big and great success.
The selection of the participants will be for only a day depending on the number and the funds that will be acquired. If the number increases then it will be held for two days. Depending on the funds there will be only six(6) participants as our final for the program which will all depend on the funds gained, if not more will be selected. We pray we get more funds to select more! The final six will be carted for by us and also they will be doing live performance every weekend to display their talents and be judge for qualification to the next round. Aside their food and accommodation on weekends after the program, those who will be evicted we will give them some take aways in the form of hampers as gift.
Depending on each child's talent some equipment will be needed to help aid that child showcase his or her talent on that particular day. Talents of various kinds will be displayed so surely we will need some equipments(clothing, shoes... etc) 100%. The plan is for the big six to be in one clothing, so we will be printing a branded clothing for them as well to make the whole program lit and perfect.
There will be only three(3) winners at the end of the entire program with the First(1st) winner taking home $100 dollars, Second(2nd) $70 dollars and the third(3rd) winner taking home $50 dollars respectively with gifts packs as well.
The winner will get sponsorships on his or her talents from #steemitkidsworld to help him grow and also be the brand ambassador of the talent hunt.
A venue will be needed for the program. The four weeks venue will cost $300 dollars for the entire program till the end. Food, drinks and gifts pack will cost $340 dollars. Clothing and shoes will cost $150 dollars. Equipment needed will cost $70 dollars. Total cost for the entire program = $1,080 dollars. I plead to all steemians on the platform to help make this project a success for the kids and all who will be watching.
