He also has probably been DV'n a bunch on a blacklist that happen to be upvoting you is my guess

reputation falls significantly pass the threshold then my posts will be hidden for good

That would take a bit before that happens. Not sure DV you is showing they are afraid of public opinion or afraid of dissent. They are just sick of hearing about it is my guess ?

You realize Themarkymark isn't going anywhere and to be honest he has already won the battle. Why even bother fighting it ? Your rep will eventually go to zero and for what? so you can just waste time ? Just get back to doing what your doing who care about the DV's they aren't even that much.

Well, #1 thing is he doesn't have to explain downvotes. But, besides that I already gave you my theory you didn't like it and that is fine.

Again I gave them 24 hours before this whole thing popped off and since they didn't be adults or professionals about their actions then they are getting exposed for USING THEIR OFFICIAL @stemgeeks account to downvote my content.

From what I heard is your post landed in their tribe which a tribe has every right to get rid of content that doesn't line up with their tribe.

If Enforce49, and bloom agreed that didn't fit into the tribe then that is that. If DV carried out past that its probably because of the way your acting ( just my theory ).

Just making sure we have the facts lined up properly.

Either way, these initiatives failed 2 years ago... they tried to do the same thing by trying to heavily regulate tags and that failed completely for this reason: People getting justly angry after whales downvoting smaller accounts... that's why there was a HUGE exodus of Steemit users leaving the platform a year ago.

Not sure I remember that. I know there were whales flagging people in the beginning .

Steemit's value is insignificant and we don't earn enough to make more because this system isn't new user-friendly unless you pay into the system...

It's always been this way not much has changed. You've always had to buy in and get SP to make it worth your while around here.

You're repeating history with this "STEM-tribe" bullshit.The 'tribe' is actually the perfect name for these things since this entire site is built on tribalism and favoritism and people upvoting all of their friend's posts and comments while downvoting the dissenters or people with concerns.

Nah, tribes are fine. They give reason around targeted, niche content and people can earn based on their interest. Actually, they help with nasty whales as the tribes themselves are self -regulating based on their own rules. The downvote you got didn't make you loose any Steem, it just hid your post from the tribe.

We also have Steem communities which is turning out to be a really good thing. Again, the only reason you were downvoted was an improper tag for a tribe. You can just use "tech" next time and everything will be great.

My concern isn't about myself it's about them downvoting people unjustly without reason. by all means they have a right to vote how they please and they dont need to explain but here I am confronting them and they are RUNNING from an explanation. I would have more respect for them if they... idk had fucking balls like fucking men to explain to me why my post wasn't adequate enough?

So they've already explained it I believe? I mean I'm just relaying what I've been told and I bet in 24 hours you'll get your answer.

I think its just hilarious how these people have the audacity to promote steem while not contributing to actual discussions on how to make peoples posts better especially when the person asked them a question as to why the downvote was made in the first place.
