If you are reading this there is a high probability that you have followed me after reading the comment I posted on your #introduceyourself post. Recently @nathen007 replied to my comment censuring me for not upvoting the post I had commented on.
I had replied to him saying that I would be tweaking the bot over the weekend so that the bot will upvote all the posts on which it is commenting. I am still working on the weight of the votes so that I can make sure that my votes are valued to all the posts I vote on. Both High weight and Low weight for votes can be detrimental. So I will try to balance the weight over the next few days.

Please stop your bot from welcoming people that are abusing theintroduceyourself tag. It has welcomed some that have posted hundreds of times in introduceyourself tag.

I can make this bot opensource but it might lead to lot of spam if people start throwing too many bots against newcomers. I am thinking of some logic where bots can split some posts. Once I have that ready I will update you.

Yes, you are right. Open source would be a bad idea and would most definitely create a lot of spam comments. That would be detrimental to newcomers and would probably cause them to leave the platform.
