Can I make quick money here?
For others it is a blogging platform where you can make money for your contributions. Like any other places in the real world you can make money on Steem platform only if people find your content useful and if they feel it add value to them. Why does Steemit seem so hard?
Unlike other platforms Steemit has a learning curve. You must spend some time understanding the platform initially to have maximum returns and make an impact in the platform. Many people who pass this stage quickly forget about the steps they took and get alienated for swathe of newbies that join the platform. Different people have different opinion on this. Personally I upvote all my posts as I invest my time in writing those. Regarding comments I am flexible. If I write long meaningful comments I don't mind upvoting myself. Sometime I upvote my comments for visibility as well. The rewards pool is distributed amongst content creators, content curators, SP holders and witnesses. The easiest way for you to earn rewards will be by adding meaningful comments on popular content, upvoting good content that you come across and then creating content. If you have some spare money you can buy steem and power up.

I see that you have uploaded a lot of videos on Dtube. Make sure that all the videos are your own. If you would like to add some notes to vidoes by others, don't upload them to Dtube. Instead just embed them and add your notes. I also see that most of yours posts have very low payouts. There is concept of bandwidth. You can only upload or edit so much content in given time. You can either visit back after a day or so by when your bandwidth would have recharged. If you would like to avoid this problem altogether you can power up by buying Steem Power.

The sad reality about steemit is that the rewards are based on the perceived value and not the exact value you provide. I saw a video of yours and they are genuine. Keep creating meaningful content and you will get rewarded.
In the mean time I would suggest you to publicise your articles as well. For example when you make a video about Dtube do a search about all the new posts about Dtube. Read their posts and then add a meaningful comment about their post along with a link to your post. This way you know people of common interests and you are advertising your posts as well.

Being a newbie, I've a question in regards with a point mentioned in above post "You should either be a very good content creator" on this particular line, I'm trying to figure out even though if one is very good content writer won't get attention due to multiple posts by large number of articles posted by multiple authors at the same time one after another.

We know that feeling. You can take comfort in the fact that you are not alone. Currently there are issues related to content discovery in Steem. Let us say you just wrote a good detailed post about Bitcoin, then visit https://steempeak.com/trending/bitcoin and try to find some posts which are related to your post. Ready the posts, upvote it, leave a meaningful comment and then ask them to review your post. Make sure not to overdo this as it mighty appear spammy :)

First you need to power down. That is convert you Steem Power into Steem. Then you can purchase SBD from https://steemit.com/market
If you want to have more influence on the network it makes sense to hold onto your Steem Power though.

It is not just the number of votes that matter. If a user with very high Steem Power upvotes, that will translate to a higher turn out for you. Hope that helps.

I have three questions, two having to do with Steemit, the other having to do with DTube. Here I go: one, due to my being blind from birth (I'm not trying to play any card here, just stating a fact), when I don't have sighted assistance available to assist with images and what not, sometimes I still create posts because I want to write and get my ideas put out somewhere where they'll be seen. How much emphasis is placed on this community on visual images? If I can't get an image for a post, then what as the community would you suggest I do to still keep my posts relevant, but using reasonable accommodations, as the Americans with Disabilities Act calls them? Uploading videos to DTube also falls into this category as well, for I've never been required to associate an image with a video before. In fact, my first one has a phone logo on it, something that has nothing to do with the associated video, for due to my lack of vision, I had to use something that I could identify by name to ensure I didn't upload something less than desirable by mistake, for instance. My second question has to do with tagging. Do all tags have to have a # before them, like Twitter? Thirdly. I'm planning on moving my video presence (yes, blind people still take videos) to DTube. Can I behave the same way I would on Youtube? On Youtube, what got me to get a channel in the first place, people do lots and lots of videos about every day life; things they got and want to show off, musical ideas, networking and server-related videos, all stuff that I care about. Put it this way, you will not see much politics related content on my dTube channel. Is the video content listed above what belongs on the new DTube platform? Thanks for all the help; appreciated.
