It's great to see this initiative take flight! I'm a ways from being a minnow yet... but I also feel that as this gains some momentum, those of us "a tier below" will pick up on the enthusiasm and follow them guidelines to become part of the "wave" on our own! I know I am certainly going to help out this project in whatever small ways I can!

If you can power up all your Steem and SBD you would almost be a minnow. To take part you need to do a post committing to powering up and engaging with the community, which you seem to be doing anyway. Use the tag #TenKMinnows and let me know when it's up. We can get you some extra votes to help you get to 500 SP and you may pick up more followers.

Dang, 28K Steem? I don't think I will ever see that much in my life no matter how hard I hustle. That is awesome for them though and I am glad to see that others are so committed to the platform. It kind of sucks being an adult and having responsibilities sometimes :P

Trust me if I had the expendable cash to do it, I would be buying in for sure. Maybe I will win the lottery one day and I can portion a bit off to put into STEEM. I probably have a better chance of losing it all first though :P
