TELETEXT CRYPTOCURRENCY

Old School reporting of Crypto Currencies..!!

I guess if Crypto Currencies were around in the '80's ......this is how they would have been reported.

With a Market Capital of $103,399,300,239 and no fewer than 801 Coins, the Crypto Currency Market is showing absolutely no signs of slowing down.

The unprecedented funds that are now flowing into the market are phenomenal and this will only increase as we begin the second half of the year.

Recently we have witnessed no less than a FIVE FOLD INCREASE in the value of Crypto Currency Market from $20 billion to $100 billion and this is just the beginning.

BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY

As Blockchain Technology and the Digital Distributed Ledger Technology continues to take a grip on Global Finance, Trade and Industry, it is this Technology that is set to usher in the Next Generation of the Internet.

Very few people are talking about it, but Blockchain Technology is set to REVOLUTIONISE: Finance, Banking, Insurance, Mainstream Media, Social Media, Capital Markets, Trade, Manufacturing, Distribution, Logistics, Politics, Government and Democracy, to name but a handful and yet most people are totally oblivious to the fact.

DROP IN THE OCEAN AND A TASTE OF THINGS TO COME

This explosion in the Crypto Currency Market we have witnessed over the last 6 months is a mere drop in the ocean and a taste of things to come.

The future will see Cryptography and the Crypto Currency Market take a more prominent role in Global Finance and Trade and a mere $100 billion Market Capital of the current Market will pale into insignificant when this is in the 10's of $Trillions..!!

In the coming few years we will witness a x100 FOLD INCREASE in the Market as it explodes from $100 billion to  $10,000,000,000,000 ($10 Trillion) in the coming decade..!!

STEEM AT <$500 million

Currently STEEM has a Market Capital at just under $500 million and is EXCEPTIONALLY UNDERVALUED in relation to its peers.

Considering the continued explosive growth in the STEEMIT Community and the phenomenal potential of the Complete STEEM ECOSYSTEM, I am sticking firmly to my $1.1 billion Market Capital Target at the End of the Year.

Thanks again for reading.

Awesome. Teletxt was the business.

@stephenkendal - Wow. That Teltext picture takes me back. I used to be Unix system admin in my college days. Made me nostalgic. I do not know how the crypto traders would have traded without the multitudes of graphs and other information that experts like you typically publish and comment upon. I guess they would have traded just like old timer stock traders trading on a ticker tape?

Upvoted.

I have posted a blog about an Orange Moon today and Sarus Cranes yesterday. Please take a look if interested. I would love to get your comments. Thanks

I still believe that steem is undervalued and its actually a blessing in disguise becase we have the opportunity to buy lots of steem and power up before others see the light, maybe by year end...and then price will start climbing and wont go back..good post

:)) I used to search for football games live score on teletext :D

If bitcoins were around in the '90s...:)

Oh my...where did you find that video?
Thinking about the '80's makes me shudder.

hahaha :D awesome. Thats actually a really good production

xD

Great post! I remember the days when you could book holidays through teletext!

i think the future of bitcoin will be as great as today Bitcoin is experiencing high volatility that it maybe caused by the recent SEC impediment to create the first bitcoin ETF, or exchange traded fund. Some people in the crypto community were confident about the U.S. Securities and exchange commission positive decision that this hope drove the price, allowing bitcoin to reach its new all time highs.I don’t have a crystal ball, but for me Bitcoin - with capital B, or the technology behind it: the blockchain - will have a prosperous future. Its importance goes far beyond bitcoin and payment transactions as this is just one - and the most banal of its application. would imagine this scenario: in the future financial instruments linked to bitcoin will be finally approved. High finance will invest into the cryptocurrency (more than the 300M expected for the bitcoin ETF approval). I’m thinking about 5-10 times the current price. Bitcoin will not necessarily be used as a method of payment (it depends also on how the size block / Segregated witness / LN matter will proceed or will not), but primarily it will be used as a store of value. However, there will be much more competition as a payment method because some banks could issue their own crypto currency, while the current ones will remain a handful. Ethereum will consolidate as the second most important infrastructure, and 99% of ICO tokens will have any value.

So we can say that the future of the bitcoin will as great as today and past ,

wow, I remember when I was searching on teletext for movies at tv

Love the graphic, very 8-bit 😹

I used to hate teletext baxck then,as while my father passed from some horrible colour screen to another i was missing my wildlife documetaries !! I found animals infantely more interesting than numbers !! Maybe this has changed with my aging ?? great enthusiastic post as ever Steven ) Steem On !

Those were the days! I'll never forget waking up and running to the living room. Open the TV and opening page 710 - it was NBA results. And the hardest part was ... there were always 3-4 pages. And you had to wait! I couldn't switch next/forward. But if i wanted to read it all, than had to pause it, read it through and than wait all the way around to get from page 1 to 2 :D

Good days, good memories thanks for bringing them up ... :)

Teletext... That brings back some memories :)

My eyes hurt now!

Well this is one flashback to the past.
Reminds me a bit of pac-man and other games that have limited bits.

Looking at coinmarketcap.com, not much has changed since the '80s.

ah teletext, the system where you had to wait for the pages to cycle around if you missed them. . . memories. .. also, PRESTEL! remember that!

It's crazy. The crypto world certainly shows sign of exponential growth. 800+ coins.. Just incredible how rapidly things are moving.

Great post @StephenKendal

Haha I miss checking the football scores on teletext
