As we begin 2018 I cannot wait for one first #SmartMediaTokens to be be issued and feel like a kiddie in a toy shop waiting for the store to open..!!

These Tokens will be a real Game Changer for Social Media in 2018 and I am looking forward to promoting them along with #Steemit and the #Steem Blockchain.

Leveraging the #Steem Blockchain

By leveraging the #Steem Blockchain, each and every #SmartMediaToken will effectively be stitched back to a Blockchain and the potential growth in Transactions is simply jaw dropping.

It is this jaw dropping growth in the number of Transactions on the #Steem Blockchain that essentially will be like firing the "Big Guns" into Social Media.

The results will be simply mind blowing.

Cannot wait to see this happen 😉

SMT is the way to the future for social media. Plus a way for traditional media to make themselves relevant and competitive again. After more than a decade of trying to convert the traditional print advertising model to website advertising, the media must find a new way to generate income. Transplanting adverts to website banners etc. simply don't work for most. As shown by the number of media outlets that had closed.

Then us, the consumers - it's about time that we get some sort of remuneration for content that we create at social media sites. Including comments. As shown by the Steemit model. SMT will pave the way towards this, and I'm hopeful things will become even better for all of us.
