The Complete Steemit Etiquette Guide (Revision 2.0) -Homage

Thanks for your thorough post. I was once a lost Reddit noob until I came across the Reddicate post, (similar to what you just did—well, did 10 months ago)

Anyway, I pretty much get the manners and the dos-and-donts of Steemit. One thing I am having a hard time with is navigating the platform.

For example, when I’m posting something, as ashamed I am to admit it, there are times I have no clue what community or group I’m posting it to.

I wrote this long, researched, unique post today. It took days of preparation and research, then hours of writing today. Not to mention the 1 1/2 hours of editing after. It was about Stocks, and a few other related topics. (You should check it out, wink)

I just got a downvote for that ridiculous plug I gave myself.

But anyhow, after I posted it, I realized that I posted it to some group called #life. I tried to edit it, change the tags, everything but couldn’t fix it.

And after all that work I couldn’t bring myself to delete it, (as your post says I should if I posted irrelevant content to the wrong place), so if you have any recommendations for articles I can read to get a feel for how to post and tag to the correct communities and tags that would be great.

Like, I’m at the point where when I try to read other peoples articles all I see it Korean posts and 1 paragraph posts with a photo.
