Sometimes we need to travel, rest our brain, and recharge new energies!
I just recently visited Washington D.C. Here are some of the photos I took while I was on my trip.
The true University of these days is a collection of books!
The human mind is incredible. Our minds react to every quotation that we read. However, there can sometimes be a deeper meaning that is only understood when you take the time to think more deeply. At the time, this was written, books were the main way people learned and shared their knowledge, ideas, stories, poetry, music, science, etc. By reading books, we can learn many new skills and also gain knowledge and wisdom by learning from those authors who wrote their ideas for us to appreciate.
Everywhere we go, there are many small details that we can appreciate, but only if we take the time to look more closely. However, when we start looking at the smaller details, we not only find beauty, but sometimes imperfections. If you take a magnifying glass and look at a painting, the artist's original brushstrokes may be revealed, and we can learn more about their technique and style. By looking at something from both far away and up close, we can gain a greater appreciation on different scales.
That is why some people like myself like to look at the world through rose-color glasses and tend to feel happier because we can choose which details in life we want to appreciate and focus our attention upon.
That is why I prefer to visit museums, libraries, national historic landmarks, and some delicious restaurants. I will be posting beautiful photos, videos of my experience in this beautiful and unforgettable trip!
