Bullshit, I'd be careful from using this app. The whole point of using steem is to be free form ads. You don't need the active key

I totally agree, there is no need for any key in this app. Looks like a scam attempt.
They say "It just for sure that you are a steem user." but why would they care about that ? If the user is not a Steem user then too bad for him. Honestly, just specifying a Steem username is enough, there is no need for anything else. I wouldn't care if someone linked its revenue to my account, that would be free money after all !
Anyway, I agree with you that it's extremely fishy. I'm flagging it for being most probably a scam.

Oh @lifeaef cool down and understand this.We say to provide active steem key because we made this app for only real steem users.Without this active key there is no one to create account in this app.If we say to provide public key then anyone can be create account and scammed it.Hope you understand.Thank you for your comment.Please understand and unreport this post.

You can use the Posting Key role (even though you don't need it either)
Your app is not on Google Store but downloadable from Google Drive
You can verify users by them sending you a code from their Steem accounts (which is the standard way of doing it) instead of logging in

a real business? wow tell me how would you be able to afford 0.1 STEEM for every round of clicking ads
Let's say you have 100 users doing what you want 10 times a day
How can you get an equivalent of 100 STEEM/day from Admob?

You also provided a bad answer to why you need an active key. You clearly want to use their wallets

I wouldn't advise anyone to use this, alarm bells are ringing.

If it does what you say it does then what is the need for an active key? The active key even states in your screenshot, it's for transfers, the user would not need to transfer anything to you.

This is the most stupid assertion I ever saw.

Any valuable developer/app will never require any key from a user to verify it exists on Steemit.
Users should never provide their active key to any application.
