Full-Time Employee

in steem •  6 years ago  (edited)

I spend most of my time nowadays working on Steem, in some manner.
That is the power of a network like Steem; I voluntarily work 60 + hours a week on Steem related tasks. This is why I am so bullish for this blockchain. I see the SPS as a way to bolster this kind of activities even further.

I love this place, and I will keep giving my heart to see it succeed.
Just think of how powerful that is... people are willing to work on the Steem blockchain in an open sourced, voluntary way! We have a ton of people who are passionate "full-time employees" of Steem, because this place gives people opportunities & connections no other place can offer.

I believe we've hit rock bottom.
All the vibrancy & life you see coming as of late is simply the bounce back up. Yin & Yang. You can't keep winners down forever; you can only temporarily keep their spots warm until they return.

People like you are why I’m bullish and just powered up another almost 5000 steem power

I'm currently more bullish on Steem than I ever was. What an opportunity for all of us! Thanks for all the work you do!

It’s rare to have colleagues this awesome :-)

Couldn't agree more with you! I'm pretty sure that when the new alt-season starts, steem will be up top again.

I love this place too and I can't imagine leaving the platform. They are tons of opportunities here.

I am happy we have people like you who wants the best for this platform via investments and promotions.

I appreciate your passion for working, Dan. Hopefully Steem will be more successful in the future. Enjoy your day, friend.

As Steem prices rise, we'll have more people working full time on the steem blockchain. Strong network effects. The way the economy is headed, i think it'll be needed.

You're an awesome colleague I must say. This place totally changed my view about society, taught me new concepts and skills and connected me to many awesome people. Best place to work in I must say. I'm with steemit whether its Bull or Bear.

Awesome. Encouragement to your followers. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and passion for steem.

I don't really have a white collar job. I dwell in STEEM for survival

When people work for belief rather than just money amazing things result. Steem is blessed with many extraordinary people who are changing the world!

Well, 3Speak is awesome, but not for me as someone who does gaming videos for fun. But DTube wasn't all that there yet, so I didn't really have a place to call home on Steem. I loved it and its potential, but I was waiting for a day when something came out that was perfect for me. Well, the day came with the new DTube update. I've always been excited about developments here, but now that something speaks directly to me I can't contain my excitement for this blockchain. I'm sure I'm not the only one feeling it, everything's starting to come together.

I am glad the steem ecosystem is so robust, there is something for everyone. We pushed 3speak our before we were fully prepared. If you look on 3speak, you will see a lot of people who were either on steem and quit a long time ago, or new content creators who were never on steem. If we had opened to the masses, with the quality we provide, we would have failed before even getting a chance. 3speak will be open to everyone, but there was a reason we did what we did, and if we didn’t, maybe we lose some of the big time creators we already landed to the likes of dlive/bittube.

Oh yeah, when 3Speak opens up for everyone I definitely see myself using that as well. DTube's direction is being a hub for all of your media content. Right now I'm using Youtube to host my videos, but that's like building on a quicksand. All it takes is one game developer who doesn't like you making videos of their games and your channel gets shut down with no means of fighting back. I've seen it happen plenty of times and have had close calls myself. That's not a good place to build your foundation. I'd rather use 3Speak for something like that. So in the future I'll probably be using both DTube and 3Speak. :)

You always say and stay super positive about Steem whether it is your vlogs or blogs. I agree with your reasoning overall.

What do you think are the biggest challenges Steem needs to overcome?

That is an interesting thought process. I don't look at what I am doing from that perspective. My first view on something is always the flaws. I don't dwell on the flaws, I find ways to improve them. It is no secret I am not a fan of the current economy, I could sit here and bash it all day. Or I could do something constructive, like help fight for an improvement, which is why am pro EIP.
You can be positive about something in a constructive way. I just never felt the need to leave negative residue anywhere, because you're never down and out until you quit, and quit is a four letter word for me.

Thats really good man. We need more people like you who are truely inspired me and other for STEEM. And being working on development always and give a good thing to blockchain. 👍

I hope you taking nice salary from all the hard work you are doing

Too much development going on on Steem these days.
I am feeling more positive than I was when Steem was 4$

I am still looking forward for people in the real world marketplace adopting STEEM.
Although it is kind of hard at times to keep a business running while accepting crypto that can easily fluctuate and maybe even die off at some point of time, but early adoptors who persevered till the end could see something truly fruition in the end, even though it could take years to achieve that like BTC.

Awesome to see people like you working their ass off for the blockchain. I am also lucky to work fulltime on STEEM as a freelancer and create content side by side to satisfy my creative urges!

STEEM has changed my life!

Wow, Yin-Yang theory
Glad to see this in the English post.😀

It is what we call Think Smart, Not Hard
https://www.urtasker.com/think-smart-not-hard/

that was the right time to read this article, just what I needed, thanks

Well I make sure I show up for "work" every day and do my duties, check up on other departments, make sure I provide feedback where I'm asked, jump into a few meetings here and there, review products and ensure that my colleagues are motivated.

Ah shit, you're right this is a job, but I love it none the less

Another positive post in my feed today..

Good to see :)

Well, nice to meet you! I've been "working" on Steem fulltime since Jan 2018 as well. With a few months of less activity in between during the winter months due to back pains that is.. I've spend many many weeks writing full time, engaging full time and doing all kinds of things. The thing for me is, that I've been needing the earnings during the past 1,5 years so Steemit has paid a lot of my bills. Luckily for us, better times are coming, and I can now finally start focussing on growing my account instead of taking money out as well. I don't regret doing so though, as I worked hard for it, and I feel it would have been stupid to not have money while I've earned enough with my hard work on the platform.

I'm excited to start my new project soon, called World Of Reviews, where I will eventually also focus on onboarding businesses on the blockchain. Exciting times ahead here!

So great to see other passionate people and not habitual moaners!
Life is what we make of it.
I am also one of those that understand the fluctuations in life so similar to the up and down waves of the ocean, but they call us life's surfers, as we continue to ride the waves regardless.
That's why @papilloncharity has lasted so long and not folded like hundreds of others.
A great truth here Sir @theycallmedan
Blessings!

I enjoy turning up here everyday as opposed to my real job.

Always such enthusiasm whilst I see so much negativity right now. I'm with you

Dan, if you would be interested in supporting some new authors on Steem, i write a weekly curation blog featuring some new folks who have joined the Steem blockchain. You can find it on my @Ma1neEvent profile. Keep up the good work!

@theycallmedan, I am Proud to say that i am Full Time Steemian and I've travelled a Roller-coaster Journey with full of excitements and without any regrets. Your efforts will going to fill colours in this path brother. Stay blessed and blessings of light is with you.

Blockchain technology is encountered bad situation or good like our life theirs a we faced difficulties at they same time we face also enjoyable moment see that's normal of steem blockchain low of pendulum

There is that thing
When you hit the rock bottom, only one way left to go

And with all great projects and people behind it, I really have no doubt that we have actually begun our climbing.

Stay awesome,
cheers!

steem is really looking good lots of developments happening round the clock

Build Time!!!

Once in a lifetime opportunity, we have here

There's so much more development around steem compared to when prices were around $6 so it gives me hope that if we can get the economics right, the price will go in the right direction.

Everyone wants to be here somehow, but content writers give up quickly because they don't make the necessary gains, creating a permanent earnings system contributes to popularity ...

Your positivism fills me with hope, we all want steem to be back on top, in the place, where we never had to go down. much encouragement

you're so right, love your post ... Since I've been in Steemit, my life has changed so much for the better

Steem works way to well and has way to much built on it to have a price this low. Thanks for all the things you do to help us more forward here.

Dan, why aren't you a witness? Would definitely vote for you.

Definitely I am agree with you.
Steemit blockchain provides lots of opportunity to introduce with other civilization, culture, peoples living method, as well as new events that is happening whole the world. #Steem also connect us with people intimately.
Thank you for your inspiring words.
