All Hands on Deck! A Steem Whale is Attacking!

I extend a truce to the attacking Steem whale and request a friendly discussion

Recently I wrote a rather controversial post regarding a trend I have observed on Steemit. By no means was my post intended as an attack on anyone. I was stating my opinion regarding the state of Steemit and using others' posts as examples to support my points. Judging from the comment section, there are some mixed feelings about it in the community, as I had anticipated. Some people agree with me while others have different opinions.

However, one comment that really caught my attention was one from a Steem whale. He/she left a lengthy comment expressing his/her displeasure with my post and even called me out for the content of my previous posts. It shocked me when he/she suggested to never upvote my posts ever again. I am very grateful to the Steemit community for all it has done for me, and I appreciate all the support I have gotten so far. I generally see Steemit as a very positive and open community where people are able to express themselves freely, which is why the whale's comment surprised me so much.

I am now writing this post extending an olive branch (truce) to @tombstone, Steem biggest whale #12, as well as other users who have different views than me. I would like to have a friendly discussion with @tombstone in order to reach a mutual understanding/respect of one another. Ideas are better expressed in person and it seems that my points and tone were misunderstood in writing. @tombstone, please accept my invitation to have a discussion over videochat. I want to understand more about where you are coming from, and to explain my own views more. I also respectfully request your guidance to help me improve my content and writing in order to benefit the Steem community as a whole.
