@tipU Basic Guide

This post is intended as a quick overview of the current @tipU features and how to use them.

Below you will information about the following @tipu functionalities:

• voting service
• making deposit
• easy sending tips to other users
• easy requesting upvotes for other users

@tipU Voting Service

You can request @tipU to upvote your post (or the one made by any other user).

To do this, simply copy the post url address from your browser:

And make a transfer to @tipU with the link to the post in the memo:

Please send at least 0.1 SBD or 0.1 STEEM. Of course you can send more and there is no max limit as @tipU will automatically send you back any funds that were not used to make the upvote.

Please note that, unlike many bidding bots, @tipU has negative ROI protection. This means that the upvote value after curation will be worth at least as much as the vote payment - or more.

The other benefit is that @tipU makes the upvote instantly if your post is older than 15 minutes. If not, the upvote will be done at 15 minutes mark.

@tipU Deposit

You can send any amount of SBD or STEEM to @tipU - this will be treated as a deposit and can be withdrawn at any moment without any fees.

Making a deposit allows you to send SDB and STEEM to other users with a comment. This is mainly used to send tips and using subscriptions - more on this in next paragraph.

To make a @tipU deposit, simply send any amounf of SBD or STEEM to @tipU with empty memo. You can also use memo: deposit or memo: invest or any other memo that is not a link to a steem post (this one is used for requesting upvotes, remember? :)

After each transfer higher than 0.01 SBD/STEEM you will also receive confirmation transfer - you can check it in your wallet:

To receive your deposit back at any moment, without any fees, simply send 0.001 SBD or 0.001 STEM to @tipU with memo: withdraw
You can also withdraw only SBD part with withdraw SBD or only STEEM part with withdraw STEEM

Easy Sending Tips To Other Users

Initially @tipU was designed as a bot for sending tips (tip you -> tipU). Tips are awesome if you want to reward a steem author but your upvote value is too small.

You can of course send tip by going to your steem wallet, choosing currency, clicking transfer, entering all the data and then signing your transaction with private key. But writing !tip is easier, right? :)

So if you have a @tipU deposit and you want to send a tip to someone - just make a comment with word !tip anywhere in the comment text:

And that's it - withing seconds the post (or comment) author will receive 0.1 SBD from @tipU and your deposit will be reduced by 0.1 SBD.

Please note if you don't have sufficient SBD deposit or have only STEEM deposit, @tipU will send 0.1 STEEM instead of 0.1 SBD - so it's totally possible to send STEEM tips.

You can send higher tips by writing, for example, !tip 0.5 in the comment - this will send 0.5 SBD/STEEM tip.

Now, the cool part is that @tipU will automatically add comment informing about your tip and advertising one of your last posts or blog:

Easy Requesting Upvotes For Other Users

Instead of sending a tip, you can also tell @tipU to upvote the post/comment (or do both!) that you like.

To do this, simply use !tipuvote command in the same way as previously described !tip. Simply write it anywhere in the comment that you are adding.

You can pick how much of your deposit you want to use for the upvote - for example !tipuvote 3 will use 3 SBD or STEEM from your deposit. Check out this example:

Please note that even though the upvote cost 3 SBD, the actual upvote value was $4. That's because we want the author to receive at least 3 SBD payout (combined in SBD and STEEM POWER) so we need to factor in the curation reward - which is 25%.

Subscriptions

This is the newest addition to @tipU service. It allows you to automatically reward author that you reaaaaly like each time he/she makes a new post. It's like automatically sending tips for every new post from the subscribed author.

Like with previous features, you subscribe by writing a command anywhere in the comment: !subscribe

After using it, @tipU will send the first subscription reward to the post author with information from who it is :)

By default the subscription reward is 0.05 SBD or STEEM (depending on your deposit) but you can customize it like in the example below:

The subscribed user will receive first reward to his wallet within seconds :

To cancel a subscription, simply send 0.001 SBD/STEEM to @tipU with memo: cancel username. For example: cancel holger80 (the unsubscribed user won't receive any notification about your unsubscription).

After starting the subscription, the subscribed author will receive automatically the reward after creating each new post. Of course one author can have many subscribers and the reward will be summed up from all of them :)

Swap

If you need to exchange some SBD for STEEM or STEEM for SBD but

• you don't want to waste your time in the internal market (which is a bit clunky)
• you don't know how to do this
• you just like when bots do the work for you

@tipU has got you covered :)

Just send any amount of SBD to @tipU with memo: swap to receive equal value in STEEM in few seconds. Of course it also works the other way around (STEEM -> SBD) with the same memo: swap. The fee for the transaction is 0.2% .

For Investors

@tipU is sharing 100% of the profit, that comes from vote buyers, plus 60% of curation rewards - both in daily payout to each investor.

This allows @tipu to be consistently in the top in terms of profitability among all steem services. You can check it by going to https://www.steemprofit.info - a website that displays APR (annual profitability) for many steem voting bots and dapps:

To start receiving daily payouts - simply delegate any amount of STEEM POWER to @tipU (there is no minimum or max limit) and that's all, there is noting more you have to do.

If you don't know how to delegate - simply write a comment anywhere (for example under this post) with: delegate 100 sp to @tipU (or any other amount of SP) and @tipU will respond with a delegation link within a seconds. Check the comments below for some examples :)
