Hello everyone :)
Many of you might have heard of OnePlus, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer founded in 2013 with the aim of developing smartphones that would redefine the tradeoff between high-quality specifications and accessible prices. Challenging the status quo, introducing a breeze of fresh air in a rather stagnant landscape. From many perspectives, One plus reminds me of Steemit.
The company has been growing like crazy in the past few years as people started to recognize the quality of their headsets and fell in love with the idea of a Robinhood company in which they could put their trust (and also with the help of some really well-planned marketing campaigns I must say).
Long story short, Oneplus is soon releasing its new smartphone, and today I wanted to present it to you. As you may have noticed, smartphones prices have been skyrocketing lately and I guess you may like to save a few hundred bucks while getting the same top-notch specs that you would expect from a Galaxy S8 or even a iPhone 7 plus.
Let's start with the Design
The teaser image (it was the company itself to publish the leak on its official Twitter page https://twitter.com/oneplus?lang=en) confirmed a beautiful horizontal dual camera setup on the rear panel with antenna lines hidden across the top edge of the device. I must admit, unibody design of the OnePlus 5 looks quite familiar to the one of the iPhone 7Plus, but hei, we all love that design, don't we?
Photography
The OnePlus team has partnered with DxO, an extremely famous company in the world of photography. DxO is a software company dedicated to developing image processing software and maintaining a website reporting all the technical measurements of lenses and cameras. The effects of the partnership should result in the best smartphone camera EVER built.
As the smartphone will come with a dual lenses shooter, one will be dedicated to shooting in monochrome (black and white) while the other will
Here is a sample of a photo taken with the OnePlus 5 in low light conditions, compared to a picture of the OnePlus 3T, its predecessor (Which already took quite good low light pictures).

The price is expected start around $480 for the version equipped with 6GB of Ram and 64GB of internal storage. For comparison the Galaxy S8 costs $829 😂
