Steem is not steemit...

...but, let's face it, they've screwed us all here.

And believe me when I tell you that all this was more than written in @ned's plans since at least 2 years before. I don't think anything was by chance, @ned has done it in a planned and organized way and has laughed at all of us besides the entire Blockchain community.
And, gentlemen, I don't think Justin Sun didn't know it from the start...

Justin isn't a victim of @ned.

In my opinion, @ned explained to Justin how to do it from the beginning and everything that has happened here since the purchase of steemit INC has perfectly fulfilled the plan of these two assholes...
And why did they do it? simply out of greed, nothing more and nothing less.
Greed moves the masses.

As a result, absolutely everything done here is in danger,
DApps, Games, Chats, services, communities, developments, inventions ...

What options we have?

  1. disappear as a blockchain: Power down everything we can, sell and close the account
  2. Make a blockchain hardfork with the code a month ago, create STEEM Classic, delete the Ninja-mined stake of steemit and others ... look for a "trust" exchange that still believes in decentralization, or a DEX ...
  3. Stay the same ... milking the most and waiting for the end of this blockchain without hope .... because this is the most likely scenario if we do nothing.

I want to believe that option 2 is still possible but, without the clear support of a large exchange, this I don't think is feasible either...but anyway I would support it if there will be the chance to do so...

In any case, I am powering down my stake, I will try to get the most from this piece of shit.

Totally right. It's greed that blind the witnesses in not taking action before. I agree with you that all was meticulously planned and it's all about money. What's wrong with money? A lot... What's wrong with making more? Nothing as long as you play fair and those two scumbags haven't done that.

My fear, as I mentioned a lot lately, is that even if the old Steem will be hard forked, Sun will do everything to delist it. We rely only on a few exchanges for decent volume and if that is taken away, then bye bye Steem.

Or...we might get the respect from big exchanges and win more than we can loose and then the only looser would be Justin Sun. There's a lot of uncertainty still...

we might get the respect from big exchanges and win more than we can loose

That is what I mean with option 2. Unfortunately, the remaining exchanges that accepts steem are not that big

I was actually referring to Binance too. They have all the interest in the world to list valuable cryptos. After all, it's money making. For now though...really really uncertain.

Am I too optimistic to believe that option 2 is realistic? :)

we are both optimistic, the point is that we must be also realistic mate.

@toofasteddie the second option seems to be the best idea out of the options you listed.....
