First, it was one of the few coins to get a B rating by Weiss Ratings
Then, Investopedia.com, made a post about the Top Non-Bitcoin Altcoins for Your Portfolio in 2018 and STEEM was no.2 on the list.
And just moments ago BINANCE, one the fastest growing exchanges for trading cryptocurrencies, and currently no.3 on CoinMarket by volume announced STEEM/BNB, STEEM/BTC and STEEM/ETH pairs. Not surprisingly, the announcement was followed by a nice small pump.
Meanwhile, Facebook’s U.S. user count declined for the first time.
And in case you missed it big youtube stars have started to embrace our platform. Just HODL, because from the looks of it we are gonna be bombarded with great news on a daily basis! Exciting times are coming :)

I don’t think we’re at the level where Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. is a competitor(if they could ever be considered one) so them declining in user growth good. Depending on what the overall market is feeling about social media this decrease could actually be bad(it isn’t).
That said, Binance adding Steem is HUGE!!! This makes Steem more mainstream, easy as hell to buy(for an alt), and if we can keep Binance volume up it puts us on the radar of other exchanges as a crypto to add. Overall Steem is set to kill it in 2018!
