Steemit is gaining popularity fast and so is the currency it uses, Steem. Now this may be going against what Steemit tells you, which is to convert your Steem to Steem dollars because they say Steem will deflate in value, but right now, quite the opposite is happening, as you can see on this graph.
As you can see the price of Steem has been rising tremendously over the past few weeks. With this in mind I think that you should hold onto your Steem especially if you have faith like I do that Steemit will take off.
I am bullish about Steem in the long term, because steemit is a very interesting project and it has a big potential.

Depends what you convert to. I have converted some to Bitshares. Very successful so far. I have also converted back to Steem and will convert more if the market allows it. In practical terms, i've been trading. Added value to my steemit experience.
