Be aware - hypocrites are around you

Do not become a Hypocrite

While the #newsteem approach has some good movements designed by system - it also gives hypocrites the chances of their lifestime to totally swap attitudes - not name calling but please be aware not all here is perfect and do your research before you trust or follow certain approaches here on this blockchain.

Why do i write about this?

Did not expect these total contrary development can ever happen - but maybe some people really rely on their earnings here so they do ANYTHING to keep their rewards no matter how. Funny to see it, even a sad story for the blockchain. Be careful if someone successfully raped the reward pool with a service and now is fighting exactly the ones that still use such a service - perfect definition of a hypocrite - right?

What is a hypocrite?

a person who pretends to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc., that he or she does not actually possess, especially a person whose actions belie stated beliefs.
a person who feigns some desirable or publicly approved attitude, especially one whose private life, opinions, or statements belie his or her public statements.

How do deal with a hypocrite?

Well, difficult - you might not be able to change their attitude, hence best to:

  • relax
  • let them do they thing
  • ignore them

This is exactly what bothers me. Once they became rich by using bid-bots and even owning them themselves and now they become rich(er) by downvoting or earning by reporting that.

Today I received a message from @curangel

Great work! Your post was selected for curation by one of @curangel's dedicated curators for its contribution to quality!

...unfortunately, it had to be excluded from curation because you recently bought a vote from a bid bot (tipu). In our efforts to support #newsteem, authors who participate in vote buying are not eligible for our votes.

But don't worry. It only takes 7 days of not buying votes to be able to receive our vote again, so maybe one of your next posts will make it!

Take care and steem on!

I only once bought a tip (not for my account) to try out how it works. The tip.I bought for another account is seen asa bid-bot. This means I do not fit in the newsteem ideas and the tipu-curators bring users in danger too because @tipu is a bid-bot. No matter what services it is and stays a bid-bot.

This also means that I cannot reward good content with @tipu if my VP is low.

I wonder if the one who received my tip is punished too. And what about all those tipu-curators?

To be honest I do not see the difference between paying for your own ad or paying for your content to advertise it.

Happy Sunday. Have a !BEER, perhaps we should get away from here. 💕

@shaka - interesting one for users of @tipu

Zumindest keine flags, das ist schon mal beruhigend und kann ich nachvollziehen

Spreading false information.

How anyone should earn something with downvotes is your personal secret I assume. That I personally never operated a bid bot, and that ocdb didn't earn anything with theirs, is just another small detail besides all this bullshit.

Isn't that what a diary is about? My personal thoughts? My questions? How come you don't tell me how a tip works? No one is willing too? If you read all my diaries you might figure out there are things/questions I continue. Who knows you will be mentioned in todays diary as the one who 1. Read my diary (let's be honest no one does and this is my life #forthechildren) and 2. Are the only willing to explain how to send a tip.

The only thing you said sofar is:

  1. I did a bid
  2. I did not send a tip.
  3. A tip is not seen as a bid
  4. A tipu-curator upvote is not seen as a bid.

Again I ask you: How do I sent a tip? What is the difference? Since I thought I sent a tip and that was @tipu's respond too days ago. It said: you received a tip!
Again, I wrote all the steps, my test etc in my diaries

Thank you for taking the time to respond. 💕

We solved the issue with how to send a tip in the other string - through your wallet :) it doesn't require others who take a fee to do that.

During your tests you sent 1 steem with a link to a post of yours. That's how to buy a vote. It was recognized by our upvote system, and because we don't upvote people who buy votes you didn't receive the upvote. The comment was to inform you about this - and in hindsight it was useful I'd say, although your form to complain wasn't necessary.
It's been 5 days ago or so, so in 2 more days our curators can add you again without it being denied. That's great!

I try to.understand it.
So if I use my wallet to transfer an amount and the memo is a link it is a bid?
Than how to send a tip?
People will still ask me so I will see in some time how a tip works.
For me rewarding via a wallet will be better anyway (if my connection is better).

By the way: I respond on every comment I see no matter if it is needed or relevant and to be honest I am used to the fact not to receive an answer. This was nice for a change. Thanks again and sorry, for keepingbyou busy. 💕

So if I use my wallet to transfer an amount and the memo is a link it is a bid?

Only if it is sent to a service which votes in return. Sending to a normal user doesn't matter.

Thank you. I learned a lot from you in the past hours/days. I appreciate it. ❤️

No it is not. If you tell steemcleaners who deserves a flag you get paid. There are posts written about it. It is not a secret but a way to make an income.
I did not say you owned a bit bot did I?

Once they became rich by using bid-bots and even owning them themselves and now they become rich(er) by downvoting or earning by reporting that.

When you mentioned curangel after that I felt like you implied a connection.

Steemcleaners pays about 0.5 steem for a report as far as I know. Takes a while to get rich off that. And they only care about plagiarism and similar abuses.
Curangel downvotes by itself. It actually costs me a lot of potential rewards, because the downvotes people have a habit of downvoting back. Same for ocd. We're not doing this for our own gains.

Oh sorry no I did not. I thought about an discussion I read about bid-bots and where some names where mentioned of bid-bots and people who were fighting it now but always used it. Your name was not mentioned but someone else's.

Steemcleaners and their way of working was mentioned too. Also because of an issue of plagiarism of a ccc member.

I try to help out but to be honest I never really studied how it all works. I just came here to post some content for my children. I thought it was a safe place (the blockchain) but now I have doubts about that too.

There are more rules and exceptions as freedom and security. Quess my bad luck is I started after HF20 for real. My connection is also to slow to follow all those links, watch videos etc and it yakes me 12 hours a day to join and figure things out.

I know people are happy I try it out if they want to know how or what but it is hard to explain if you do not know it yourself.

To be honest ocd I only recognize from name but I cannot build a picture to it.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. Happy day. 💕

Let's not forget all the circle-jerks and votes for those who suckup to their #newsteem lords.

not extra highlighting this - but most of us have their own jerks which is even normal - a group of friends or like-minded folks to vote is normal and human, especially when you share same interest
