10 Reasons why I think STEEM is better than Facebook:
- STEEMIT DOESN’T SELL MY PERSONAL DATA!
- No Mark Zuckerberg
- No Social justice warrior censorship
- You can actually make real money on Steem as opposed to only wasting your time on Facebook
- Steemit doesn’t currently have advertising
- I have the Opportunity to turn my Creative Energy into Money
- I can support other artists and writers
- It's a cyber frontier instead of being back in high school and having to deal with a popularity competition based on irrelevant criteria
- Its dark web social-media on the normal surface web accessible for everybody. No proxy needed!
- You get to interact with people in a low stress environment.

One of the most compelling advantages you didn't mention (unless it falls within #9) steemit has over Facebook is freedom of speech. Facebook is running wild with censoring a lot of controversial content which may or may not violate their guidelines and you don't have such a thing with steemit. I believe a lot of people express themselves on steemit solely for this reason.
