Steem Price at 1.02$ - Just too Low!

in steem •  7 years ago  (edited)

I bought 40 Steem this morning and I used them to increase my SP Lease (by 1.5k SP for 4 weeks) as I want to be involve even more in the Steemit Platform.

Even if I am VERY ANNOYED with Steemit.com Situation lately. You can't handle a DDOS attack with your $200mn Market Cap?

BigData numbers that I publish monthly on the platform are going to be poor as new users and even old ones are getting really pissed off by the unstability of the platform.

Anyway !

1.02$ per Steem is VERY attractive!

As we can see on this graph from CoinMarketCap, we are very close to the All Time Low. As I expect the pump in Bitcoin to calm down, investors will come back to Altcoins.

Therefore, I put my money where my mouth is!

Nice. I've been buying a lot of STEEM and using it to increase my delegations recently. The recent issues with the Steemit front end have been super annoying. I've been on here since June and nothing like it has happened before.

The most frustrating thing, in my opinion, is no communication from the Steemit team other than one short blog on @steemitblog 14 days ago. I still have faith in the potential of this platform but I'd really like to know more of what's going on.

In the meantime, I'm going to keep powering up when I can and post / comment through busy.org new beta. I agree that eventually the BTC hype will die down and alts will pump again, but it may not be until next year. You never know with crypto, lol!

I feel exactly the same. Steemit could be great but I don't have a clue what the "30 people team" they have is doing !
Hopefully, they will improve the platform and structure.

Good post , I know what you mean about Steemit at the moment I’ve only just been able to get on seems to have been down for a while

I won't be surprised if it hits $0.80 with the crap performance lately. I'm ticked off too.

Wouldn't count on it. There's too many people bullish on STEEM wanting to power up. Also, most of them understand that there are no underlying issues with the STEEM blockchain. It's really annoying how nonfunctional the front-end is right now, though. Hope this gets cleared up soon or at least an official response.

I know, the communication is sucking !

I'm hoping to see it get below $1 again, but I fear if it keeps dropping below that point that eventually it won't recover and instead of $1 being the support it will become a very strong resistance.

.96 has been the lowest for a few days now. Maybe it will dip shortly under a dollar. But then it will probably stay in the .90 - 1.00 range. And it shouldn't be their for long.

I lost my hope to buy some extra steem at 7 pennies. If they coin really were to crash like it wash at the old days. Then their would be a major backslash in the community.

Thats what can happen in a free market regardless of what the community wants.

STEEM shows some pretty intense support at $1 for months now. It does occasionally dip to $.90 but rebounds within a couple hours. Of course what you're saying is possible, especially if there continues to be no official updates from the Steemit team when everything is borked. It's been 2 weeks since these issues started, they really need to be resolved ASAP.

Yeah everytime it jumps off tbat $1 mark and stays close to it thats less buyers looking for cheap steem. However if it keeps bouncing back up at least 10% it could just keep making swing traders money. Only time will tell but would like to see it break the resistance and form a new support.

I bought more today!
hopefully we will be able to look back in a year's time and be really annoyed we didn't buy more...

Very good

Road to 10$, slowly but surely it will come.
