I have not been here for long, but I've been very active and I don't notice the usual trolls. You know the people who come in and ruin a perfectly good conversation with sarcastic comment or something.
Since the invention of Twitter and Facebook, trolls have come out from under the bridges and live amongst us in this digital world. They seem to be multiplying faster than Gremlins in water, but I have yet to find one troll on here. There is one guy that keeps posting "meep" as comments, but if he is the only one, then this is a pretty amazing place.

I don't know what it is about Steemit, but the crowd seems very forward thinking, but realistic. This really is a great place and I am so happy I found it. Thank you all for not being Trolls!!! lol
Tell me any troll experiences you've had on here... if you have had one. All feedback is welcome!
There is a bit of trolling, but due to the ability to flag a post (reduce their reputation) or upvote a post (increase their reputation) people tend to think twice before jumping in a conversation and being a raging douche.
I'm sure as certain trolls gain a following, and many of them do, that some trolling will pickup steam (steam get it ahaha im punny) here and get really irritating because the fear of losing reputation or gaining because they are being a troll will essentially reverse as long as their followers support their rude comments.

You make a great point. If people want to make money, it is easier doing that by being constructive instead of a raging douche! Interesting, maybe this is how we should pay politicians. lmao.

I signed up this past March and like you it's been troll free so far. Perhaps the fact that a steemit poster can profit from posting, voting, participating and in general maintain a good reputation aids to create a polite society...

I agree 100%. Thank you so much for your feedback and I am happy you have been troll free too for so long. I think it is great. Like I told @sasha.shade, maybe this is how we should pay politicians.

Crazy to find an internet community where trolls don't exist. Made me a little uncomfortable at first, but now I'm starting to like it.

There's some trolling here, but far less than you'll find elsewhere. They tend to get flagged so their reputation numbers drop. And you can mute someone.

Good tip on muting someone, I was wondering what that does. I hopefully won't have to use it, but just in case. lol I have a shotgun for the same reason. Thanks for the feedback!!!
