Don't Think Steem Is A Big Deal? Try Sending Money To A Friend In Another Country

in steem •  7 years ago

There is always one fact people forget when they talk about cryptocurrency and how it has no value. They miss the fact that sending money costs money. A lot of it. Have you tried to send a wire at a bank? You are looking at around $30 of fees. That adds up. You want to use paypal? There is fees. And as much as people think case is easier good looking getting that to a friend who is not in the same room with you. The process of sending money and the costs involved with it are an area that crypto can really excel in.

For example lets look at steem. You can literally sends 1,000 of dollars worth it and it takes seconds. A lot of people do not realize how big a deal that is. All I need is an @ name and I can send money to anyone, anywhere in the world and it will not cost me a thing. What bank offers that? Sure people don't accept steem everywhere but that is a choice, people could accept it if they chose to.

This kind of technology is a big deal and with such efficiency it will lead the world when it comes to the growth of economy.

Don't believe me? Send me some steem and see for yourself :p. And yes that is a joke.

That is soo true !

Steem is BIG deal!

I totally agree with you.
Steemit transaction to me is easy

:)

It's a very cool idea. It saves a lot of commissions from one country to another, but unfortunately not all people deal in electronic currency. I hope all the people in the world are transferring funds through Steam to save money.
Good luck my dear friend @whatagerk 👍👍😃😉

You see I always say something that the future is steem and steemblockchain.

This kind of technology is a big deal and with such efficiency it will lead the world when it comes to the growth of economy.

Myself and a couple of friends marvel at this no cost of transaction thing, a technology that supports millions of transfer with no charges . Believe me in future , business payments and fundings will be done through steem blockchain steemit basically. I’m lucky to be part of this great technology.

Really a very great idea to transfer money via Steam does not cost a conversion fee
Really very special article

This zero charge on fund tranfer/transaction can actually go a long way.

"The process of sending money and the costs involved with it are an area that crypto can really excel in". That is where crypto nailed it...bank charges can be killing you know @whatageek

i am same to your opinion ,,no dout its so true,,thanks for information

really well said
its greatly said be true without dout
i agreed
by dint of only user name it can be send steem, only for few secound..!!!

its really great post
based on steem ..really need to send money to other country
i agreed @whatageek

That's what is the best about crypto.

I really hate that bank charges for everything.

I'm from Croatia, and we're not doing best.

Our taxes are enormous, we don't have investments, etc.

And you know who's doing best in our country?

Banks ofcourse.

I'm really happy that crypto came.

It can lower the influence of the banks, which is really great.

It is a big deal. I can send steem to someone and they can use bitshares(which apparently is the fastest blockchain in terms of transactions per second) and they can trade it for Etherum or bitcoin which they can very easily sell. In my country I can even pay for groccesries at the chain store called Pick and Pay.

Very cool indeed! The "old" system is just so complicated, very much a reflection of the Humans' inner chaos.

Steemit's transaction system is perfectly easy and yet much more effective. I love it :)

I agree 100%
