Back in April I was getting into crypto and researching different alt-coins, i was searching for ones attached to something more substantial than just a coin and came across STEEM, leading me to Steemit. I watched the site for a little over a month, learning how it worked, finding people who were building communities, etc. Then I joined and engaged in conversations with those members and found my place here.

c - I had been watching youtube videos for years but never realized that people make money on youtube. Just as I began to take the creators seriously and began to think about creating, youtube started censoring and demonetizing my favorite channels. One night I watched two videos about steemit, Math Easy Solutions @mes and the SGT Report @stgreport and immediately signed up. I am learning so much here and the community is great.

B - In a round-about way. A friend of mine began sending me stuff from The Dollar Vigilante regarding fiat money versus precious metals. In one of The Dollar Vigilante's videos, he mentioned a new social media site that pays you for your work. I was curious and came to see what this was all about and now I'm hooked. Totally addicted and ruining my eyes from too much computer time. Seriously... I just had an eye exam and the back of my eyes are starting to go lumpy!

Thanks for your concern and advice. I need to get an alarm and set it as a reminder.
The back surface of the eye where the image is processed needs to be smooth in order to get a clear and sharp image of what you see. When the eye is asked to do more than it can, it prioritizes and instead of allowing oxygen and other nutrients in and letting the waste products out, it only allows the good in but neglects to take out the trash. That waste material accumulates like lumps of dirt under the carpet. Apparently that's what is happening in my eyes. Macular degeneration.

A - My friend tried to introduce me to Steemit last October but I was just too busy with other things to have a proper look. He then mentioned it again in March and this time I became very interested, especially when he told me how much his account was worth. I was very interested and so he guided me through setting up my account and then I started posting. And then I posted some more and then....well I suppose you could say that I can't stop posting now!

I was curious about cryptocurrency so I started researching trends. When Bitcoin and most of the others were falling, Steem was climbing. I was curious why, so I looked up how to "mine" Steem.
Well I didn't become a witness, and I didn't get in on the premine, but I stumbled into Steemit and learned to start mining with my mind.

I left Facebook in disgust one day and began to search for a new social media platform. I came across Steemit in late July of 2016 but it would not accept my phone number in the sign-up process. Steemit was forgotten for a time as I continued to explore the internet for new meaning and purpose.
I rediscovered crypto-currency in this time, and began to buy and dabble in trading. As I examined the possible investments, I noted Steem on the exchange and I made the connection between the Steemit and Steem.
In November, 2016 I successfully created an account and I have been involved ever since.

I was watching Amanda B. Johnson, on her previous YouTube channel, The Daily Decrypt. She featured BitShares Prediction Markets, and I got interested in that platform. I got registered at bitshares talk, and dug really deep into BitShares.
At that time, BitShares was in the middle of a big fiasco over worker proposals. And there were murmurs of Dan starting a new project. I felt like he was abandoning BitShares, so I ignored the new project.
Turns out, that new project was Steem.
Then ABJ went Full Dash. And while I was on the Dash Slack, some people were spamming steemit links (some of the actually good stuff was from @thedashguy). I was at the point where I was sick of this stupid Steem project, so I decided to investigate it.
Turns out, it's a pretty cool project.

Heard that he has an Steemit account and he also heard from a friend. I had the account since jun2016. Was disappointed with the results and was very busy just started work in a new place. Left it until this year then started writing. Was thinking of giving up when I realized that people do not read or when I comment they do not reply. When I looked at other bigger boys, some do not even write but just put a photo and they have so many upvotes.
Still trying to blog as often as possible and be positive. Will definitely carry on.

I heard about Steemit from Gregory Mannarino or Marketreport. He made it easy and safe to sign on to this platform. At the same time I also heard about it from Jeff Berwick of Dollar Vigilante. However it was Greg who inspired me to become a Steemian in May. Greg Mannarino is a smart man and I would recommend his blog to anyone.

Option E, other. I just randomly found Steemit.
The date is 2017 May 17. I searched for a VGA related topic on the Google and I clicked on an article.
I didn't even realised what site I am on at first. I read the article. I saw the $ sign under the post.
On the same day, I started to read about Steemit and also on the same day, I registered on Steemit.
So I arrived here (found Steemit) by accident.
I am not going to lie. I registered for the money earning opportunity. Probably just like the most of us.
This could help me a lot, because I am unable to make friends and I am unable to work in real life due to my disabilities.
I am 25 years old. I was born on 1992 September 17, so yesterday was my birthday. I am from Hungary.
I am receiving a pension-like income, which is very low (approximately $231,75 USD) (60 000 HUF) ($1 USD = 258.90 HUF), so every cents and dollars could help me.
I am currently writing original content mostly about amateur radio, if you are interested in it.

b- I heard about steem from James Corbett of thecorbettreport, it took me a couple of days to actually come and sign up.
Although the site hasn't been at all what I expected, I have been here ever since. I am enjoying learning more about Crypto and some ideas as well. Money is a factor for me, but so is the Bitcoin/Crypto culture and the idea of bringing money to everyone everywhere regardless of location, government, political views, wealth, etc.
