Getting payed in STEEM along with SBD and SP. Why?

Does anyone know why this is happening in the last couple of days?

Since I joined about 2 months ago the payouts I received were only in SBD and SP. Now I'm also getting STEEM.

I wonder why.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

    It is designed into the blockchain to curb the debt. When the Steem price drops rapidly they reduce the amount of SBD and add more Steem in place of it. Designed to keep everything in balance.
