Soooo.... Just want to share my experience without calling it good or bad, so people who are new to buying cryptocurrencies know what to expect with HitBTC exchange.
I signed up roughly about two months ago and sent some Eth from a smart contract wallet - yip, my mistake for using a smart contract wallet. They say it one of their pages that currency won't appear magically appear in HitBTC account when sent from a smart contract.
But they can manually process the transaction - yay!
I logged a request as they have instructed on their website. Didn't get a response apart from the automated one. I logged another one few days later to get a response for the first ticket request. Then I did another one and another and finally, thought I'm getting tired of this crap.
I left it there.
About two months later I receive a message from someone from HitBTC. Happy days!
I took them a week or so to process tee transaction and viola!
Now why this post?
Read what's on the website before sending coins
With HitBTC, don't expect to get a customer rep getting in touch with you for weeks!
2 Months is a long time in Crypto as you all would know by now. I wanted to buy a certain coin that was available on hitbtc and I knew that I gotta buy in 2-3 days. Pfftt... Took 2 months to receive Eth, so I missed the train.
So make sure you do a bit of homework about exchanges and how they work before doing anything with them.
