I've been a web professional for about 15 years. I've been an author for longer than that. I started a number of personal and business blogs, not to mention thousands for clients over the years.
My problem with Steem - is the interface. It's VERY difficult to post anything and have it be nicely formatted. My last post, as one example, included a number of errors, that I can only find by publishing and testing.
Steem could be the future, but it's got to have a better editor and editing interface before it really takes off.
(and as I posted, just saw an error that I can only use lowercase letters when posting tags...)
(and I tried to post it after adjusting for that error and got an error message that I can only post every 5 minutes... that makes no damn sense, it would be fairly easy to tell whether or not this is a true, manually written post, or a paste-up)
