My favorite Steem based app/service would currently have to be the eSteem App.. There are many many apps/services that I've loved from the simple potential payout apps to the whale trackers, award payment tracking etc..

What the eSteem app has done for me is allow me to gain some pretty decent commenting rewards as a struggling minnow. My posts rarley will generate many views or rewards no matter how detailed or well written they are. However when using the eSteem app to comment and engage in conversation I have been blessed all to often by receiving the app creators upvotes which generate .24 - .27 SBD for me typically just for using the app to comment - which seems to also draw more upvotes from others.

What I'd like to see more apps/services of being created is apps that are tailored more to simply helping minnows get acclimated to STEEMIT, helping them receive some small rewards in the beginning weeks of joining, and helping them to excel as a contributing member of the community so our entire community numbers continue to grow and allow STEEMIT to evolve into what is destined to be

Definitely the esteem app, I use it more then the web app and I appreciate the connection to the community you have @good-karma another good one is steepshot its the Instagram of steem these would be my most used. Honorable mentions would be zappl they got some work to do but great potential. I would like to see esteem have a couple of more features like the web app. Picture zoom, followers list and so on. Just a thought.

SteemNow by @penguinpablo is my fave at the moment. I like that it's simple, fast, and gives me an overview of what I need to know.

A service I'd love to see is a Steem-based pay-to-download document/digital files site - for self publishing PDF ebooks and printables. Not sure if there's anything out there that can already do this?

Steem based app....i belive and for sure abt me is esteemapp. It nt only keep us close to the steemit world but also help us to explore d world on the go. No matter what esteemapp helps us to be with the steemit world anytime anyday😃👍👌
Aditionally i would like to have a similar app based for utopian as well and linking utopian and esteemapp. So that we can edit and submit anything.

And recently streemian.com.

And I would love to use eSteem App, but for me it doesn't work properly enough. It's too annoying. I.e. the first line is always somehow hidden. The reason I want to use it is: Post Scheduling, that's also the reason why I started using streemian.

To be honest, utopian-io is the best service here on steemit.
Before the service was started I used to get around 0.5-1$ per post even posting through esteem app.
Now with the help of contributions I make, I easily get 4 - 5$ per post.
Utopian.io us growing rapidly and I want to be a part of it for lifetime.
Utopian.io started the best delegation service and also delegated steem power to every service and app on steemit.
I would love to see utopian-io with more and more steem power.

Your esteem is a great service especially for minnows.
At least 20 of my friends joined steemit when I told them to join it and I recommend esteem for each and every one of them simply it is good for starters as it gives some rewards on commenting and posting.
That little start helps new comers stay on steemit.

I would like to see these two services more and more.

My favorite personally is steemnow by @penguinpablo. It encourages me to strive to that next level of reputation and shows me how much voting power I have in the tank. It's a simple app, sure, and maybe not as well known as some, but it's my fav. I also like Steepshot a lot, it allows me to easily participate in photo challenges and share small pieces of me. Finally, I have to give honorable mentions to blocktrades and eSteem. eSteem is the only mobile app I have that I can dictate notifications for and at the same time, put up some snazzy posts. It's not Steemit...but it's close.

Well you can't go wrong with esteem...espicially for me as I am always out and about and can only access steemit via my phone...zappl looks cool too...i would like to see a steem based chat service like Viber and whatsapp, that also enables to send steem to your contacts...

My favorite has to be Steepshot. I've been using the app on my phone. I think it has a huge potential to bring a lot of users on the Steem blockchain once they have a solid stable app ready. Who would want to monetize their photos?

Second would have to be dTube. I think its a great option and great way to bring people to Steem. YouTube is getting known more and more for censoring/demonetizing videos. That cannot happen on DTube,

My favorite application on the platform is steem - esteem. And this is not a drop of slowness.
Most of all in esteem I like the opportunity to constantly be aware of the news with a mobile phone. It is very practical and convenient.

Favorite Steem-based application? It has to be @steepshot. Even if this application is still on alpha release, I see a lot of potential on this one. I'm a fan of photography so this is definitely the best application for me. I also discover great photographers here. I even encourage my steemit friends to use the web and mobile app to support this.

I do sometimes use just the internet site...but I prefer and use eSteem app 75% of the time. I like and appreciate the notifications..that is something that I don't get using on the internet ..also the internet freezes on the wallet alot..which really frustrates me when I'm trying to make a transfer money or power up steem. I think private messaging would be nice and also an easier way to be able to follow back people in a more timely manner..I wait a couple of weeks then go through all my followers to return follows but it's so time consuming ..I used to be able to due it daily but the more followers you get ...but I mean I really think that you have done great work making a great app :) :) vote @good-karma !!

Truth be told, favorite app is esteam..... No not trying to play favorites @good-karma....

I only use my phone currently for steemit... Which means i cant upload images.... Well that is till i discovered esteam.

Plus the notifications i get when anything goes on i need to know about...

Next would be steemd.com created by @roadscape and steem.supply/@username by @dragosroua

Steemit is a very complete platform, however, secondary applications are necessary for its operation, I as the new one in this community, I publish my personal computer, nowadays I do not have a smartphone despite the economic situation of my country, but when you have it I can follow your recommendations

I have researched a bit about it and my favorite steem based app eSteem because its simple and easy to use. I mostly post on steemit through this app and i am quite satisfied.

I am a huge fan of Dtube,i really like idea as it gives everyone a platform where anyone can share his/her views without being censored.

I use steemnow for most of time, even 100 times a day to check my voting power and who has voted me. For scheduling my posts, I love esteem because who knows what will happen tomorrow, will I be able to post or not so I schedule some posts there.

Well, there are lots steem based app which have done great on this platform.

But the best would be eSteem with its quality services they render with their app
Services like Scheduling post, Saving your post for later review, Drafting post, viewing where you are mentioned on steemit, people who reblogged your post, upvotes you got from people, power of your voting power, and the number of votes you have made and so much more
And the upvote they give with each post posted on steemit

My favorite steem based services is dtube. I am a huge fan of Dtube,i really like idea as it gives everyone a platform where anyone can share his/her views without being censored.

I also like steemd.com which i use to see my voting power mostly

My favourite Steemit service is Steemit Worldmap. If you add a string of code to your travel posts, it pins your post to the map and you can see everyone else's posts at all the different location. You can also search by tags or usernames so is great for having your own posts as a collection.

My favorite Steem based service is Blocktrade services.

So my favorite app is the "Steemit More Info 1.4"-Extension for chrome or firefox browser!
For me, i got so many helpfully infos and details, but see by yourself!

The markdown editor used to write new posts now shows the preview at the right side of the editor. While you write the post, if you scroll through your textual content, the preview will automatically scroll to the right point. This feature is available for screens with at least 900px width...and its really the best! no fuuu scrolling when you write a long post!?
you see a Vote Power indicator with the reward that a 100% vote from that user will give in SBD ($)
you will see the number of votes today
A new tab 'Votes' is added, where you may see the latest upvotes done or received
It shows the estimate of the votes in $ too! You can also filter the votes (incoming and outgoing)
Added a dropdown menu with links to external tools to get more info about the steem account.
When you click upvote and the Vote Weight slider appears, not only you see the percentage of the vote, but you also see the amount in $ that upvote will be valued
For downvotes, it shows also the total reward of the post after your downvote
When you are looking at a post or comment and you click "votes" to see the list of people that voted that post, you now also see what was their contribute to the total reward!
You can see the posts with two different layouts: list (default) and grid! You can change to grid layout using on the buttons on the top-right corner of the page.
On the blog page of an user, you now see an histogram of the posts of that user based on the creation date. You can scroll horizontally to go back in time.
Posts made by the user are shown in blue, reposts in green!
By clicking on one of the bars, you can open the list of posts made on one specific date. This makes it easier to look at old posts of an user!
You can choose to show the histogram automatically on page load (default) or if you prefer to load the histogram on request if you find it to be too invasive. To change this setting, hover on the histogram title and select "On load: hidden"
The followers and following pages have been updated to show a table of the followers/following, with more informations (Reputation, STEEM Power, Upvote Worth). You can sort by the different attributes by clicking on the table's column.
When you read a post, now there is a floating bar with the tags, date, author and upvotes of the post, so you can easily access this informations and upvote the post if you like it!
If you prefer a less intrusive way, in the setting you can choose the small floating bar layout
If you want to better see the avatar of an account, just hover on the user picture to open a bigger version of the avatar image
GIF Picker for your posts and comments! You can search by keywords or see the trending gifs of the moment. Powered by Giphy
Boost your posts easily with the Boost button next to the "Promote" button. You will be able to easily transfer SBD to @minnowbooster for an upvote of the whale!

These plugin makes a totally new feeling to use the website. Its fast, easy to get, for free and works very good... what do you want more? I´m so happy with this tool and i hope, you see it like me ;)

Hello, @good-karma and thanks, for the holiday cheer. Like many here, eSteem is a great help in keeping up with what’s going.

Apart from that chat services help, such as Discord/Writer’s Block to create a sense of community and exchange ideas.

Since there’s so much to learn, mentoring is vital, and I’m grateful for those who have extended a hand and shared information over the nearly 3 weeks I’ve been a Steemiam, or Steemizen :)

Lastly, just today became aware of The Steemstar Network & chance to sound off or ‘speak our mind’ - (in response to Bernie Sanders initiative to provide a platform for alternative viewpoints)?
