As we count down to May 29, there are few things to note about these two English teams.
Chelsea has won the trophy once in 2012. They won the trophy with a new coach then, by name, Roberto Di Matteo who was brought in after their manager was sacked.
In fact, the Coach Di Matteo was an interim manager, who was brought just to manage the team till the end of that season. Well, the rest they say is history, as he ended up winning the champions league.

Chelsea have not played another champions league final since then.
Fast forward to 2021, their opponent is not Bayern Munich, buy Manchester city. Don't forget their current manager Tomas Tuchel is just new, after the sack of Frank Lampard a Chelsea legend. He is now in the final.
On the other hand, the blue side of Manchester has been outstanding in all competition. They have won almost everything in the local league. At the moment, the only cup that is missing is UEFA champions league. Just few days ago , they won the English premier league. It looked like they are going to sweep every thing in the local league again, before they were stopped again last April, by their May 29 opponent- Chelsea.
Manchester city has been beaten again by Chelsea this May again, even though one may argue that, they didn't play with their full strength. Well, it's still a win, and it has entered into the record books.
No matter how you look at it, we are seeing a new rejuvenated Chelsea under Tomas Tuchel. In fact, after defeating Manchester city, Chelsea seems favourite to win the FA cup, but, unfortunately, Leicester city will not allow that to happen.
Here we are, Chelsea goes to another final in the space of two weeks.
