Steeman Detour

After Steeman had been airborne for a bit, he set his navigation north, and prepared to go to mac 1, when he suddenly felt some Steem activity directly below him. He'd been flying north for about ten minutes so he was far away from the Atlantic coast now. It couldn't be @nonsowrites, since he lives too far west, and he'd been warned by Ogun not to fly west. It sure wasn't @josediccus - he was too far east of Steeman's current coordinates.

There were two distinct Steemians in very close proximity of each other directly below, so Steeman descended to have a look.

Kwara State, Nigeria near the border with Osun State is where Steeman landed. Specifically, it was a city called "Ilorin" - the current day remnant of an ancient kingdom.

Steeman could tell that there was a lot of Steem activity in this part of the world a couple of years ago, but all has fallen silent. There were thousands of individual Steemians transacting on the blockchain per day - now all mostly powered down.

These two accounts Steeman could sense are still active, one of them being very much so - possibly one of the most active accounts on the blockchain.

Steeman could not decipher the accounts from the air since there were two of them next to each other - the signals were intermingled. He decided to take to the ground for better resolution. He activated his invisibility mode, curtesy of the Wakanda suit, so as not to raise eyebrows walking the streets.

Steeman was fascinated by how arid things were compared to down south. The present time of the year saw winds carrying sand and dust from the Sahara desert. It was also noticeably cooler.

There was a shopping mall in sight, and the signals were getting closer. Steeman pulled some data from the visor for directions.
"Fate Road, via Fate Roundabout to the Fate-Tanke axis", the visor data read. Steeman looked ahead and spotted a two figures, one appearing to carry a young baby.

"That must be them", thought Steeman. As he moved towards them, their account transmission became clear. It was @mattsanthonyit and @little-vickie. It turned out there were actually three Steemians, not two. There was a very weak signal from @ayopeju who hardly transacts much lately. The second account with the strong signal belongs to one of the youngest Steemians on the platform.

They were on their way to the supermarket to garb some shopping, and were also taking the opportunity to take part in the #marketfriday initiative by @dswigle. Steeman thought the least he could do was to at least help carry the shopping. When asked about the man in the green "costume", they said he was a performer at the local circus.
