Share My Steem Anniversary; One Year on Steem Blockchain.

Am happy to share my steem anniversary with all of steemians. I have completed my one year on steem blockchain. 

Until I learned from a friend of mine, had no idea what Cryptocurreny, Blockchain and Bitcoin was all about. Therefore, my deepest gratitude should goes directly to my best friend, Beneyam Mekkonen who introduced me blockchain technology and Cryptocurrency year ago for the first time

This guy is actively promoting Bitclube in my country, he requested and inspired me to join the Bitclube and start mining but unfortunately I did not as I was broke by the time. However, I start searching web to learn few new things; 

               “How to Get Bitcoin?”

 It was that time I got to know about steemit from youtube and registered on 11th of September, 2018.

my entire year was full of challenges; with lots of ups and down.  Frankly speaking, for me steemit and how it works was much complicated. Despite my regular reading practices, could not able to know the philosophy behind greater achievements in steemit platform, even now. 

In the first place, everything was new to me. I had no idea about blogging business so that I tried to reviews few things to learn how to create good content blogs. In addition, devoted continually reading what and how others post good quality articles. With such few understandings, start posting on steemit for the first time on 22nd of September, 2018. 

Although I began my journey with high positive energy, results was not as such as expected. Every week I brought 5-7 new posts but my posts were not getting enough attentions. During the first few months, my posts were getting only two to three up votes but without any earnings. For me, that was really gloomy.  

Even I lost the great opportunity because I was not aware of blogging “introducing myself” which is highly recommended to write as beginner in steem blockchain but surprisingly, now I did it using this post simultaneously. 

But few days later I read a post about steem delegation and I put my comment “I need delegation” and as a result, delegated me me 50 steem powers and also up voted my post soon after his delegation and able to earn above $ 1 for the first time. 

Although that moment ignites me work hard, still it my posts were not getting enough up votes and their payout periods expire without brings earnings; I became exhausted and stopped participating for some couple of weeks. When I get back after these couple of weeks, I started commenting more than posting and that really made difference

Major achievements 

• gained good understanding about blockchain and cryptocurreny significantly widening my perspective regarding future economic opportunities 
• Getting more followers because of reading and commenting posts of others; especially @chbartist, Increasing my participation and regularly posting blogs on tags such as Steemchurch and Christian-trail posts 

My weaknesses

• Lack of clear plan; during the past one year, I was not clear or did not have plan what to achieve and how to reach there. There is one saying “faller to plan is planning to fail” 
• Faller to promote steemit in my country. In the past one year, I have never met a person who knows about steem blochchain. that is like losing opportunity
• Poor networking and partnership; when I mean by this, I did not join any community or groups or any of discussions, idea sharing, or others means gets more votes for my posts 
• Not yet used any of steem supporting programs, apps or websites 
• Did not give much attention to the needs and interests of my followers 

Way Forward; My second year plan 

• My overall objective; bring higher influence in platform through increasing my steem and attain reputation score of 72 and above by end of September, 2020

Specifically, work hard to achieve the following objectives 

• Establish and strengthen regular and sustainable networking and partnership 
• Use and applications technologies, programs and apps 
• Develop my knowledge so as to create and share new understanding that could be able to build the benefits of others in the community
• Produce quality content articles on Christianity, economic, social ventures
• Promote steemit in y city and country at large so that build my cycle of influence 

Generally, I am happy for being part of steem platform. I got the opportunity to learn things which I did not know before. I got so many highly educated people and acquired marvelous lessons any one could not get outside. Also I would like to thank and bless @steemchurch @christian-trail for their boundless efforts in promoting and helping me to grow in the community
