I made this cute drawing a few minutes ago. I got nothing much to do so I tried challenging myself to draw another cute things but this time I am using a reference photo that doesn't look cute at all. I want to figure out if I can create something cute using it as my inspiration
This is the finished drawing. I think it is lovely and cute and more vibrant than the reference photo.
The inspiration photo. It looks dull and I think I may have a bit of a challenge choosing the right colors to make these spices come alive. By the way we have two purple onions, a ginger and a garlic clove. I did not include the garlic because it's white and that is basically the color of my background.
Rough sketch and color choice. I made the line drawing and still deciding on the value of the colors. Here we have a pale to very dull hue of violet.
