Here's my modest effort, in a lean 231 characters.
A little bit on the grim side--but dramatic :)

Thud.
6:30. Exactly.
She'd been expecting that thud for hours.
Pound the broom on the ceiling.

Can't get him to stop, so it's all-out war.

Cloth around the broom. Lighter.
Ah, peace, finally. Lie down and watch that ceiling burn.

It was easier to tug on a too-small latex glove. The outrage! But this battle in the perpetual fashion war was easy to win: two hem-to-knee slits, two fabric triangles sewn in, and those skinny jeans were worn to disco night. Bell bottoms!
