SteemBasicIncome - From Manual to Automatic

I've just seen a post by @steembasicincome, explaining that their initial release of an automated system has been finalized.

This news is so important especially for the staff involved with SBI, which previously needed to process all payments, delegations, curation rewards and rebalancing of the pools manually. I bet they are in a high degree relieved, or will be after the automation will be working at 100%!

Yes, the manual processing also took time and people are often impatient if they don't see something change after they received or gifted some shares. But eventually most understand.

The volume of work however must have been huge, especially since SBI is a popular project offering "basic income" to their share owners (well, more of it when STEEM price was higher in terms of fiat, where most expenses go).

I'm happy for this development and congratulations to @steembasicincome team and @josephsavage, its creator!

That couldn't have come at a better time for us too, with my SBI shares daily giveaways.

When I chose SBI shares as one of the giveaway options, I thought about its win-win-win potential (receiver wins an upvote for life, sender receives an equal number of shares, SBI grows as a project).

It's also the long term orientation of these benefits that is mostly what I value, as opposed to, for example, offering liquid giveaways, that can be turned into fiat immediately. I hope you see it this way too.
