I enrolled here in Steemit more than a year and half ago and kind of forgot about it. A couple of weeks ago, I remembered this community existed and came back to it and I'm glad I did. I've been trying to write more personal posts for a while and steemit was the reason I manage to write 3 original pieces and one short story in less than two weeks. I've manage to get more than 40 followers in the process and met incredible people along the way, but more than that, I manage know more about myself. Doing this posts have me thinking more of what is important to me and why I have to look deeper into myself. In the end, I think that's not only the secret of a good steemit post, but also a good practice for life in general. People can see through lies and irony, so being truthful ends up being a great way to live a good life here in this community or out there in the real world.
