#2 - Your Favorite Movie Ever

There are a lot of GREAT movies but for me, there is one that definitely stands out from all the movies I saw! The Shawshank Redemption is my favorite movie of all time, I don't want to spoil this movie for anyone who hasn't seen it yet so I won't tell you what the movie is about 😁. 9,3 / 10 on IMDB must mean something!

    Oh man not going to lie Shawshank Redemption is a really good film it really touches your soul and the ending is really great.
    As for my favourite movie it will have to be taken from the Tolkien stories any of the lord of the rings films, Peter Jackson done a fantastic job bringing those stories to life and the music is so moving throughout the movie.

                                  I am a great fan of Roberto Benigni: he is a very good Italian movie director and actor.
                                  In his best film he is able to mix comedy with an historical drama like Shoah. His love for his child makes it seem a lager a luna park.

                                                                      It's a coin flip between Citizen Kane and Vertigo. It always was Citizen Kane, but the restored version of Vertigo is amazing, finally get the color pop that is essential for psychological drama. Plus the film score of Bernard Hermann is amazingly essential.

                                                                                I love French cinema and the first movie that came on top of my head is "Le prénom", the English title is "What's in a Name?"

                                                                                      I would never watch a movie in any other language than the original. I lived in Peru for a couple of months and they had the costume of dubbing movies, that drove me nuts 😂

                                                                                        I absolutely get you, buddy! I hate dubbing too, speaking generally I think that countries where the dubbing is a standard are less educated than the others, because they read less. May be a bit extreme, but that's my observation from traveling a lot around Europe :D

                                                                                                                                      OldBoy - This is a Korean film made in 2003. Do not bother with the 2013 American version as it is no where near as good. The Korean version is far more fucked up. It is frequently cited as on of the best films (not only English speaking) of the 2000s. A lot of people don't like subtitles but within 15 minutes of the film starting you will completely forget about them.

                                                                                                                                      Like Shawshank this film starts off in a prison although it has a very different theme and air.
