Hi guys - as announced yesterday we are continuing the Steemit Charity World Cup Contest with new auctions for a lower entry bid of 5 SBD per for all the 16 teams that have not found an owner yet! Thanks to all bidders and supporters of this contest. We managed to secure over 400 SBD in prize money already within one week. When starting this I thought it might be easy to find an owner for every team but I was wrong. Reason might have been the starting minimum of 25 SBD or that people simply did not believe in certain squads.

Details on prize allocation:

First Place (World Champion): 30% of the pot (120 SBD if total pot is 400 SBD)
Second Place: 15% of the pot (60 SBD if total pot is 400 SBD)
Third Place: 5% of the pot (20 SBD if total pot is 400 SBD)
The other 50% of the total basket will be paid to Charity!

The charities we support are @papilloncharity from South Africa and @steemarity from Austria. Also the winning Steemians can feel free to donate their amount to a charity – but that is not a requirement.

ATTENTION:
Apparently since yesterday there is a bug making it possible bidding after auctions end. We are working to fix it.

Interim Report:
No other auctions have been compromised, Here the issue was that we started the new overview system manually. This caused a timing issue, "confusing" the bots.

Seems we are playing sort of "Back to the Future".
Please be patient, we try to fix the problem without engaging manually in the auction process.

And also please ignore bot comments right now.

Thanks @pollux.one - I will wait for an official clarification before I announce the winner and owner of #Croatia - seems @twinner but we would like to have confirmation that there was no action in the same block when e.g. @gamingchimp was bidding. The announcement that @alexvan is the final owner is probably wrong. I want to make this 100% accurate given the owner could win some nice amount of SBD - in light of Charity I thank all of you though already for attending and help growing the prize pool!
