A bid for Egypt is a bid for Charity and Community

Hi guys - as announced yesterday we are continuing the Steemit Charity World Cup Contest with new auctions for a lower entry bid of 5 SBD per for all the 16 teams that have not found an owner yet!

Egypt has no chance to become Top 3 but a bid would increase the price pot and hence the amount we can donate to the two charities.

Thanks to all bidders and supporters of this contest. We managed to secure over 400 SBD in prize money already within one week. When starting this I thought it might be easy to find an owner for every team but I was wrong. Reason might have been the starting minimum of 25 SBD or that people simply did not believe in certain squads.

Details on prize allocation:

First Place (World Champion): 30% of the pot (120 SBD if total pot is 400 SBD)
Second Place: 15% of the pot (60 SBD if total pot is 400 SBD)
Third Place: 5% of the pot (20 SBD if total pot is 400 SBD)
The other 50% of the total basket will be paid to Charity!

The charities we support are @papilloncharity from South Africa and @steemarity from Austria. Also the winning Steemians can feel free to donate their amount to a charity – but that is not a requirement.
