After reading Part 1 of My Book of Bible Stories I have read some interesting stories in chronological order. Some of the people in the stories I will go into deeper details about with once I gather more research on them. I will not do that when talking about them regarding this book. My goal is to stay neutral and share the information as it was written. I will give my personal opinions when I talk about the person individually.
I wanted to take the time to share this book with people who are interested. This book was the book that taught me how to read. I read this book every day at the same time with my mother and siblings as a kid. I would also go on to continue reading because the stories were very interesting and always taught a valuable lesson.
Part 1 talked about some of the people who lived before The Great Flood. Part 2 talks about after The Great Flood up until the Deliverance from Egypt.
These stories are considered true stories and are taken from the Bible. There is 116 stories in My Book of Bible Stories
The Flood to the Deliverance from Egypt
Life after the flood will share stories about many different people from the Bible. Abraham, Issac, Jacob and Joseph. It talks about the Israelites and their captivity in Egypt.
Men Build A Big Tower
Nim’rod was the great-grandson of Noah. He was a hunter of men and animals which he killed. Nim’rod made himself a king over his people. This is the first time that a king has appeared in this book.
Nim’rod had the people work on building a city with a big tower in it. They people said they would be famous if they could build a tower that reached the heavens. God wanted the people to spread out on Earth and at that time all the people spoke the same language. God caused the people to speak different language so work was stopped on the towers and the people spread out to different parts of the Earth.
This event happened in the city of Ba’bel or Babylon.
